Amazing coffee. So many flavors in a plain cup. This is now my favorite coffee shop. I will be buying some to brew at home.

We were driving through Salem on our way to the coast and stumbled into this coffee shop. So happy we did!! My favorite thing was a sign that said, "we filter coffee, not people." The vibe is very welcoming and we saw a huge variety of people inside. Bagels were excellent and my coffee was perfect (got the Mexican latte). The bathroom was large and clean. The Governor's Cup is a wonderful café to pop open a laptop, check emails, read a book, and try something new. There's seating on the main floor and upstairs but they fill up fast. Bathrooms are upstairs and parking can be a mission.The staff were wonderful and helpful with taste suggestions. I had the Rosemary bagel and white mocha lavender coffee. Very interesting. I'll definitely go back to try more bagels and drinks.
