“We were in Salem for a concert at the Elsinore Theatre on Friday, November 1st, and were lucky enough to find the Wild Pear, to get something to eat before concert. I wanted to try everything on the menu, it sounded so good! I ordered the Butternut soup & Pear salad. Both were fabulous, & I can't wait to drive back to Salem to check out other items on the menu. We had awesome service and were greeted & shown to a table right away. You will not be disappointed! I will definitely be back, & wish you were closer to Vancouver, WA!!“

“The absolute best Iced Mocha I've ever had. And I've been having speciality coffee for 15 years and I buy a lot. I was going for a 2nd, but by the time I was going to swing back by...the Building was about to close. That just says how much the coffee is GOOD. No doubt I'll be back. “Was in today around 1:30 and while visiting the restroom with my 4 yr old an employee was cleaning/mopping it. As we were leaving the world's crankiest customer entered and started in on the employee for simply doing her job. This human proceeded to berate the employee who was on her hands and knees and she patiently just endured the woman's wrath. I cut in and thanked her for a job well done and told her that her hard work was not unnoticed. I really just want to say THANKYOU to the employee for not losing her cool (as many of us might have done) and for working so hard. Strong work ethic and patience with not so nice people in the world will get you far in life. Wether mopping a floor or heading a board meeting, good character like she displayed today will take you so much further than that angry person's comments and disrespect. Kudos to you young gal, you rock! Hope you get promoted and recognition for the great asset you are to your company.“

“The Shaka Brah catered our wedding in Pacific City in August! Jake and his staff are wonderful and so kind! The food was delicious and the guests raved about all of it! Jake delivered it himself and it was hot and ready to serve! Another caterer had canceled on us unexpectedly that was closer to the Oregon coast. I was in a panic and I reached out to Jake. He was super responsive, very helpful and kind. He met with me in person, fed us delicous food and answered every single question I had! It was a very busy week for their restaurant, he had other catering events and was opening a new place! Jake managed to squeeze me in to their busy schedule because of the urgent situation I was in! We are very grateful that he was able to help us in a pinch and also that the food was absolutely AMAZING!! Thank you! A & J Bell 😀“

My one wish is that some day the Yumm sauce will get elevated to eliminate the bad things in the ingredients such as canola oil. Why not olive or avocado oil? Just would make it that much healthier!! “I had a great experience at Panera Bread. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and my order was prepared quickly and accurately.

The food was fresh and flavorful. You can really tell they use quality ingredients, and everything tasted well made. The bread and soups are always a highlight, and the portions are just right.
