Had an incredible dinner at Paradiso last night. People who say that there is no fine dining in Salem, have not been here. I'll start with the decor and location. Both are perfect, the art deco and beautiful long bar top invite you to have a great experience. The service is second to none. Our server this evening, Robin, was spot on. Her suggestions and knowledge of wine pairings were brilliant. I had the cioppino, it was prepared perfectly, the salmon was as tender as can be. My wife had a perfectly grilled rib eye. For desert i had a tiramisu cocktail which was worth the price of admition. They also brought us a free little tapenade and a palate cleansing aperitif, which were delicious. We'll be back soon.

Came here tonight for our anniversary dinner. It was our first visit. They weren’t very busy. Our appetizers took over 45 minutes after we ordered them (bread and butter, fries). Really slow to refill drinks, food took well over an hour after we ordered it. Service was below average, was not impressed to be honest. Especially due to the fact it wasn’t busy, our server also had an attitude and made us uncomfortable. Food was decent which is good. Wouldn’t recommend for a date night though for the price and quality of food and service. Good service is very important. Not worth a second go around.

The food was delicious, the only complaint I have is that the new bar stools are awful!! So uncomfortable...why would you want to stay for a second drink!

Took forever to get food that Applebees can make and the waitress chased us when we were outside to verify that we paid with the QR code. Never going back. They don’t respect a disabled vet. I would stick to going to Rudy’s for better service, happy hour and open seating

They have slow service, and okay food. We paid with the QR code and the waiter said thank you. Then chased us when we were outside and made a scene. They don’t respect vets in that restaurant and will chase you to verify if you paid and expect 30 percent tip for an hour wait and they forget you order drinks

Service was outstanding, food was very well prepared and presented (crab cakes, clams Provençal, steak teres major, potatoes gratin, perfect creme brûlée), excellent martinis, wines and Spanish coffee. We'll be back soon.

Love this restaurant! From the tasty amuse bouche to the delicious dessert- everything is beautifully served and delicious. The service is warm and attentive. The flavours and elegance of the food at Paradiso are comparable to Michelin restaurants I've had the pleasure of dining at, though at Paradiso there are more generous portions and at far less cost.!

The Paradiso was a classy looking restaurant and the service was prompt and friendly. However, neither my husband or I liked our food much. It wasn't gross but just ok for an above ok price.

The menu on the web site was nothing like the menu presented in the restaurant. They had run out of chicken!!!! Service was slow only 2 people doing all service and bar. I loved this restaurant but this night they missed the mark.

I wonderful restaurant for a date night or special occasion. The flavors were amazing, all put together with a beautiful presentation. Would even be a fun place just to go for drinks and appetizers... We will definitely be back soon.

Took my fiance out for an early V-day dinner, 2/13, and we had one of the best dinners we have had in Salem yet. It was our first time there and I made reservations, and its a good thing i did, because they were booked. They were starting there vday drinks early and we both had one, and they were delicious. We decided on the Calabrian Mac & Cheese as our App. It was surprising spicy, not too much, but wasnt expecting it, but it was amazing. For dinner my fiance got the Filet Mignon w/ sherry cream sauce, Bacon, pancetta, and leek gratin and green bean casserole. I decided to get the Ribeye w/ sherry cream sauce, bacon, pancetta, and leek gratin, and grilled squash and tomatoes. This was one of, if not, the best steaks we had, and we lived in Montana for 8ish years. Everything was seasoned perfectly, didnt even need salt or pepper on anything. Steaks were cooked as ordered, medium, and all the fat on my ribeye was perfectly rendered. I dont think i ever been able to eat a whole ribeye, without leaving chunks of fat or gristle on the side, but every bit of fat just melted in my mouth at Paradiso. We capped off of dinner with a creme brulee. It was nothing exciting, but im used to my fiance making homemade creme brulee. It was still good, just nothing crazy.Price wasnt bad either. For app, 3 specialty cocktails, 2 dinners, and a dessert it was about $150, not including tip/This was a 10/10 for us and we will be back, not even just for a special occasion.

Temperature in the restaurant was cold! Kept our coats on the entire time we were there. Food was exceptional, except the green bean casserole which didn't have the quality as the rest of the meal.
