I come to Rudy's 2 times a week . We always have a good experience . Last night was my boyfriend birthday , we went in the waitress was not friendly , she checked on us one time . My chicken was not well cooked so didn't finish my meal. She then asked if we were done she brought are check and walked away and didn't come back . As everyone around us was getting there free cobbler for there birthday dinner. The host knew it was a birthday but the waitress wouldn't give us the time of the day. We are used to having too noch services the other waitress know us and are order . I have never had this bad of an experience .
My wife and I went for our anniversary. The food was awesome, but if you're going get steak plus something (like seafood) just get the steak. It puts everything else on your plate to shame. I had the Medallions and it was really good, but the lobster might as well have not been there. We will certainly be going back for more!

We've been to Rudy's many times but I think tonight was the best night. I had the snake river Wagyu, New York steak... it was the best New York I've ever had. Plus we ordered a 10 ounce main lobster which was cooked perfectly. The combination was fabulous. Also ordered their crabcakes - five stars, Caesar salad - five stars. We brought our own champagne.
Food is good, we've been coming to Rudy's since they were at the Golf course usually on our anniversary because the crab cakes were the best. But, over the years the quality of the crab cakes is not as good (more filler), they're smaller and the sauce is different. Prices are super high for a plate of food.... I guess like everyone else, which makes going out to dinner a luxury. Unfortunately, we probably won't be going back in the future.
The food was good, the charbroiled asparagus was better than the regular asparagus. The margarita flight on the other hand was less than desirable, every flavor tasted like a tequila shot. I would have ordered shots if that is what I wanted. I enjoyed our server Evan and I liked the pace at which they let us eat our meal without interruption. Overall I would say the atmosphere and service was better than the food itself.

Where we sat at a table for two, was a bit crowded and lots of servers and buss people bumped my chair every time they went by. We actually skooted the table back a bit and they still bumped us

The food is absolutely amazing! If you like Salmon the Salmon Neptune is one of the neat dishes I have had. All their food from soup, entrees, amd appetizers are all good! The Marionberry lemonade is our favorite non alcoholic drink! The customer service is also so good. Everyone is super nice! Severs Mari and Joshua are the best!

My girlfriend had the Mhe Medaliioins and they were perfect but my shrimp was dry and almost imposable to remove the shells from the meat. The Asparagus was perfect but the masshed potatoes were on the dry sideas well but quite flaverful. I will be sticking to the beef in the future. Service was great and all the staff were wonderful.

Food was good, but definitely not worth the prices. It was my favorite restaurant for years, but not anymore. Prices have skyrocketed and quality has not. Our server was kind, but not around at all. My water (only bevearge) sat empty for my entire meal. My husband had a sprite that never got refilled either but the staff filled his low glass of sprite with water... we had to ask for more rolls.

Food was solid if not spectacular. Steak was flavorful and well cooked. Brussels sprouts were dripping with gooey sauce. Draft coming in from the outdoor dining area every time door was opened. Service was very slow - well over an hour from seating to entrees arriving.
Our party chose the bar setting last evening. We enjoy the ‘noisy' atmosphere and we were seated in time to order from the daily happy hour menu. Service was great! Tommy saw to our every request. The Filet Mignon and Crab Louie were delicious!
Everything besides our meal was spectacular. We enjoy dining at the bar so much. Our appetizer & entree all come out luke warm beside the proteins on the plate, steak and pork chop.

This will be my new "go to steak" restaurant. Was at John's when he had the place at Salem Golf Club. First time at this location. What a treat. Melt in your mouth steak. Exceptional service. Salem should be proud to have a top shelf, family friendly, casual dress, restaurant. Sure beats having to drive to Portland .

Frequent Rudy's diners, but this time I was disappointed not to be able to give 5 stars across the board for two reasons: our reserved table was really inconveniently placed in the upper dining room—inconvenient for the servers who had to squeeze behind one of our diners (a skinny young man who was as close to the table as he could be), and although they tried their best, they bumped into him several times (to the point where our wonderful server apologized to him—and again, not his fault). Secondly, treating myself to the most expensive item on the menu, all was wonderful except for the unsightly, pile of giant, tough asparagus spears that showed no sign of being grilled; just plain, unseasoned, and uneatable except for the tips. And I like asparagus!

Best meal and service we've had in a long time. Right up there with fine restaurants in Monterey Ca, Texas, Hawaii, San Diego, Ritz Carlton in Halfmoon Bay Ca. Me and wife like romantic fine dining and Rudy's is well worth it. Thank you for a wonderful dinner. We will be having many more date nights with you folks.
