Today, I had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at Santiam Wine and Bistro. The ambiance and aesthetics here are truly special for Salem, offering a unique flavor that's hard to find elsewhere. The French Onion soup was simply exquisite, and the mushroom lasagna was equally delightful. Pairing my meal with a glass of red wine felt like the perfect finishing touch!I must mention that Courtney's warm and welcoming service added to the overall experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, and I highly recommend this place to others

A hidden gem tucked away in a small strip mall. Hundreds of bottles of wine line the walls. Food is excellent, fresh, and well presented. Nice selection of soups, salads, and sandwiches at reasonable prices.

I've been following this proprietor's odyssey for some twenty years and have seldom encountered an individual with such a head for business and for creating a singular venue of a class that would measure up in Portland's trendiest districts. The venue culture I think is comfortable for a younger demographic than I, else I would be in more often.

I love their wine, I love their food, I love their cheap and cheerful six packs and I deeply appreciate how friendly and knowledgeable the staff always are about whatever I want. I have come to them with some unusual very specific requests and they always had right for the wine that is a perfect match. Plus it's a locally owned business that has been in town for a while now, have hung in during the pandemic, and they deserve our support. Drop by to browse or to sit and enjoy their wonderful food. Fabulous wine selection and incredible food! Been here multiple times and it just gets better. We exercise down the street so coming in after for a quick bite was a Friday tradition for a bit before life got in the way. We are so looking forward to the weather getting better so we can come and have outdoor seating and wine and sandwiches with our doggos. Pickled veggies, flatbreads, and salads are our fav. Best place on 12th street for sure.
