AAAAAA+++++ Slightly afraid to review this place and let others know about it because it was so lovely. We manifested an empty table on arrival on a Sunday at 1 ish pm for brunch and the universe provided. 😂
We were warmly greeted and told that we could choose to sit outside or inside, and we were welcome to just find an empty table and they would bring us menus. The place has a lovely relaxing vibe, while listening to some good background jazz we admired the decor, beautiful woodwork and lovely artwork. Yolanda was friendly and bubbly and took our order, my girlfriend had the loaded Biscuits and Gravy and a soda and I ordered the Salem Slam (minus the meat) and a Blueberry Lemonade.
Our drinks came quickly and that was the best blueberry lemonade 🍋 🫐 I've ever had.. just perfectly refreshing. Rachel brought our freshly made food, which was delicious and totally hit the spot. The pace of the meal was perfect and we will definitely be back in the near future. Lots of parking and a lovely place to take a stroll before or after brunch. 🤫🌈 ☘️
Definitely gets the shamrock seal of approval!

Food and drinks are just beautiful! Lovely place with outdoor seating in a really cool wool mill museum area. Fantastic service. Definitely coming back 👍👍

The food was really good. However, the customer service wasn't. Our server seemed really friendly with other customers but not us- it made us feel awkward.

Taproot is always a cozy, delish experience, usually I get the tacos but today I got the biscuits and gravy and OH MY GOD it’s life changing.

The staff also always so friendly

The food was good. But I ordered a cocktail and the glass was only half full. $10 for
a half glass. No thanks.

The drinks are hit or miss at times.

Wonderful relaxing coffee house Cafe with a bar. Had the grilled chicken burger with Bussels (instead of fries) and dipping sauce. Try it out.

Taproot’s owner goes above and beyond for his community. The Heritage Center is a wonderful place to soak up some of Salem’s history while also filling your belly with tasty bites!
