The banana bread "French toast" was the worst thing I've put in my mouth at a restaurant.Ridiculously dry, and not great flavor.I dumped so much syrup on it to make it edible and even then I ate some of the center of one piece.Partner had the chicken fried steak, same thing. Super dry, he barely ate half of it.Expressed dislike of food, waitress didn't do anything other than explain that she too knows that banana bread is dry and said we should try other stuff IF we come back next time. There won't be a next time.

Last time I went here, wanted to get something to go. Someone gave me a menu but never returned to take my order. Several employees walked by never asking me what I like to order to go… I left to go to the sandwich shop down the street.

You would think a place called “sassy onion” would make good onion rings, but you would be wrong. Very wrong. Very very wrong.Editing my review to add a comment after the reply from Sassy Onion: Why in the WORLD would you give someone gluten-free onion rings if they didn’t ask for them to be gluten-free?!! Gluten-free sucks. I love gluten. No wonder they tasted awful.

I’m rating this based off my first experience. Albeit it was a to go order, dining in may be a different story. I tried the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits do seem to be made in house, they have the classic biscuit look. As far as taste goes it’s decent. The biscuit itself is buttery and flaky. Now the gravy is the low point of this dish. It didn’t look very appetizing, was very thin and flavor was a little bland. Overall just okay.

Nice place. Popular. Worth the wait. Tillamook burger is very good. Balanced. Get the fruit instead of FF.

Which was super nice. I got one of their specialty French toast dishes and OMG… They went way above and beyond. I went with my mother and my girlfriend and their dishes two were amazing. Highly, highly recommend the sassy union.

This place is a standby for breakfast comfort food. The food is a little overpriced, but what isn't these days? Good enough to keep me coming back.
