TOKYROLL Sushi & Poké - Salem Vista Place

The sushi was not good. I was disappointed.

This place is a gem! Far superior to conveyor belt sushi and even a cut above some Japanese Bistros I've visited.

Food is on point! I def miss the poke bowls from hawaii and florida but so far Tokyroll at this location has made really fresh and delicious bowls. The menu has a very wide selection and options. Crisp and Fresh ingredients, very friendly and educated staff. I did not feel any discriminatory or condescending treatment coming from them at all.

Will definitely be coming and I hope it is consistently good and with an awesome staff.

I only think the vibe could do a bit better, and maybe expand the ingredient list and add dessert. ( But I understand, the majority of oregon is not diverse and so are the taste buds) as someone that has been to big cities, i miss the poke bowls with more sauce flavors, more toppings like watermelon radish, corn, tomatoes, cilantro, hijiki seaweed, red onion, masago, octopus, scallops, daikon radish, etc.

But I get it, this state is more of a diner food, bbq and clam chowder type of place lol.

Really lovely spot and the food is SO GOOD. I got a bowl with salmon and the portion was really generous and super delicious. Will definitely be back.

We don't give a perfect review score often but this one deserves it. Quality pricing, portions, and customer service. Feels very clean and inviting from the staff the moment you walk in.

Parking is very open so large groups or get togethers are simple to coordinate.

They also have kanai salad 🥗 that's a win

Love the custom Poké bowls! The lomi lomi salmon is my favorite. They also have a lot of great sushi options.

I didn't realize the portion sizes would be so big! Now I feel ripped off at other places. Tastes good too. My favorite place closed down in 2024 but I think this will be my new place. Menu isn't very big but I feel it allows for more refined dishes for what they do have. 5 out of 5 recommend.

Tokyroll - A Hidden Gem in Salem!
I stopped by Tokyroll and was seriously impressed with everything I ordered. Here’s the rundown:

Sesame Balls – Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft, chewy inside. The sweetness was just right—comfort food at its best.

Cream cheese Puffs – Light, crispy, and stuffed with creamy filling. Not greasy at all, and super satisfying.

Fried Shrimp – Golden, crunchy, and not overdone. The shrimp stayed juicy and the batter had great flavor.

Gyoza – Pan-fried just right with a flavorful, savory filling. Loved the dipping sauce that came with it too.

Poke Bowls – Fresh, colorful, and packed with flavor. You can tell they use quality ingredients—great balance of textures and toppings.

Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and fast, and the place had a clean, cozy vibe. Definitely my new go-to for casual sushi and snacks in Salem. Highly recommend!
