Oh my goodness... the food was so fresh and delicious. The chef loves to cook and you can taste it in every bite. Best fried rice and ramen... anywhere. We loved lemon iced tea also! Hand crafted with lemon and honey.

The outside of the building looks a little sketchy and the inside looks pieced together. There was a bit of a mess when we arrived. It was just after opening and there were already dirty tables. There is a lot of clutter behind the register, half boxes and stuff scattered everywhere.Ordered eggrolls and crab Rangoon for an appetizer. The crab Rangoon was delicious. It did not have any kind of fake crab it, but it was fresh and had onions and cream cheese. The eggrolls tasted like your typical frozen bag ones you get from the Chinese market but we’re still hot and crispy. Our entrées were spicy beef ramen and yakisoba. Both were exceptional. The Ramen had very tender beef. The yakisoba had big prawns and an assortment of other meat that was all seasoned well. The noodles in both dishes were the right density. We enjoyed our meal and would absolutely return to this restaurant. We also ordered a honeydew Boba. It wasn’t frozen consistency that they usually come but it was still tasty. Our total is $46.

This place has changed owners from the days when I remember it being family owned. Gone are the most amazing pot stickers now replaced by run of the mill fried dumplings. We also had sesame balls which were quite tasty. The rest of our meals were rather unremarkable. Husband said his Bento Box was fine, but bland, Sister indicated her Tonkatsu Ramen had way too much seaweed in it to the point that was all she could taste, and my chicken Yakisoba was primarily noodles with dry chicken bites. The tea was served in coffee mugs and tasted terrible. First time returning to Salem in many years, our nostalgia visit was disappointing in that the Chinese menu has been replaced by Japanese. Now where can I go for cold pork noodle salad and from-scratch egg foo young?

This is maybe the best Asian restaurant in Salem. Their portions are great, and the owners are extremely personable. The food is delicious, and never leaves you feeling heavy. My wife and I go here all the time and grab their daily specials, but there are many other great things in the menu! I highly recommend this little know spot in Salem. Give it a shot; you won’t be disappointed.
Our first time trying Tong King Garden and it was an amazing experience! This place is a GEM. We ordered BBQ pork, rangoons, fried rice and the beef belly bento. Everything was so delicious and fresh. The service was excellent, really kind and attentive. A new favorite. We can’t wait to come back!

Tong King is amazing. Went there to place a takeout order for lunch. The new owners of the restaurant are so kind and welcoming. They recently celebrated their first year. I'm so glad I stopped by - the Tonkotsu Ramen, fried dumplings, and milk tea I ordered were delicious. Looking forward to having more meals there in the future. Daily deal - on each day, they have a lunch entree that is $10.00 - very affordable with good portions. I felt so lucky that the Tonkotsu Ramen happened to be featured today, and it was $10.00. Will add a few photos!

I ordered noodles and shrimp, I counted 5 shrimp and the plate full of noodles, no taste either, I had to add plenty of salt and sauce to make it somewhat edible. My son order the thicker noodles and at the bottom it was full of some watery sauce. He had to add extra chicken but still the pieces were very few. Upon entering the workers were eating and took a while to take out order.

This may not be the fanciest restaurant but it is so good. It’s consistently delicious. Food comes out quickly and it’s hot and fresh. The employees (owners?) are so incredibly kind.
