I am not sure how this place is still in business. One person working the dining area but she spent most of it in the bar area. It look and hour and a half for our one pizza and when she brought it out in the to-go box, I could t have felt more unwelcome. Look it’s clear this place is for locals only but seriously when you are too busy socializing to wash dishes and that is the excuse for not bringing the pizza out on a pizza pan. Frankly it tastes so bad we threw it out when we got home. Clearly they are not making their own crust (yes I m one of those who make own). So they pile on the topping to cover up the horrible cardboard crust. Also have the little girl working stay out of the bar area and wash the dishes, perhaps the pizza crust can be cooked on a pizza pan. Yes she admitted she didn’t have time to wash dishes.

I recently moved to Sandy, Paola's was the first place I tried because it's pizza. It's was definitely good enough to be a repeat offender. Personally where the food shines is that sauce. Both on the pizza and in the spaghetti, it's pretty top notch. My only beef with the pizza is that they spread the dough with cornmeal and I'm a flour type of guy. But that being said, even with my personal preference I still go back for Paola's because it's a solid choice. I've been here 3 times now.The service is great everytime. All of the staff seem super friendly and the ones who don't talk to the customers are clearly hard at work.I came by on a Saturday night and they had live music. It wasn't a full band, but everyone was having fun for sure.

First time at Paolas and definitely my last. Went later in the evening and the place was almost empty. Took over an hour to get the food. The waiter was eating in the back and kept coming out to the bar chewing food. The food wasn't even edible. The French dip had cold roast beef and one little pepper slice on it. The fries were undercooked and soggy. The waiters were friendly but didn't know much about good service. Never did they check in or mention the food taking over an hour. Asked for a box to go and the waiter went and emptied the tip jar and started counting it up and "forgot" to get the boxes. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review but it's been a while since I've been to a place that's all around this bad.

Quaint family owned feelings when you eat here. The bartender was a real sweet heart to all her customers.
Waited for an hour for food. The burger was burnt, the cheese ravioli was covered in a meat sauce and thus inedible for me after the literal hour wait, the garlic bread side had to be requested. Our appetizers came out last and was the only thing I could eat. Weird vibes when we came in, the host made it seem as if there wasn’t room for us to sit and eat in the restaurant though the couple in front of us was sat without a problem and I heard them say that there was lots of space. After a day on the mountain I was looking forward to bringing the fam here after a wonderful visit a couple years ago and was DEEPLY disappointed in the service and the food. Some things should be left to memory so they don’t become spoiled. Would not recommend unless maybe in the middle of the day when you can be served in any reasonable manner.
Vegetarian options: There are no clearly vegetarian dishes besides a salad or French fries. The “homemade marinara” is a meat sauce though it is not marked as such. The cheese ravioli is not a vegetarian safe dish.
