“WOW! We drove out of our way to get your famous cinnamon rolls, and they were dry and stale. My wife had never tried one and I kept bragging how good they were. We bought three that day Feb. 28, 2025. Just lost a faithful customer who drives 30 minutes out of our way.“

“Some of the best coffee and breakfast around. Prepare for a wait because it is one of the busiest spots and you'll be fine. These folks hand make the food (and, of course, the coffee) to order, so you know it's gonna be extra good.“

“Honey bee latte with caramel.
Feels like you’re sticking your face into a bee hive, that’s been smoked out with a bushel of lavender. Then go take a walk on the beach, and try to keep the sand out of your eyes and ears. I bet you can’t; And I bet you won’t regret it. God Bless. As for me I’m off to go fishing again. I’ll be back in a few weeks. Wrote a song about it called West coast country. Check it out. “We were staying nearby and popped in for some breakfast. The person working the front was not very welcoming. She barely smiled or acknowledged us coming in the door. She was busy cleaning the counter and refilling some pastries. It was our first time there, and we thought we maybe missed "a way of doing something." Finally, my husband had to tell her that we were ready to order. We ordered two drip coffees, a bagel sandwich, and a burrito. It took a little longer than normal to get our food. This did give us plenty of time to observe the same girl do the same thing to person after person. It was not a friendly environment to walk into. After waiting almost 20+ minutes we took our food back to our hotel. There wasn't much room to sit in this place or even wait for our order. However, the food was absolutely delicious. And I would go as far as to say it was worth the wait. Just don't expect to make a quick stop if you are ordering any type of food. However, again, I will say it is worth the wait to get one of their food items!“

“This is the place for a doughnut, cookie or brownie. Besides having delicious chocolate and maple flavors, the bakery creates amazing flavors like German chocolate, cherry cheesecake and Smores doughnuts just to name a few. You never know what might be in the case the next time you come but you can bet it will be delicious! Just having amazing doughnuts, cookies and brownies isn't enough, the Mermaid has homemade soups! Look for the freezer and pick yourself up some soup. The depth of flavor they have is fabulous. A true comfort on a rainy day! Check Facebook for their daily offerings. Stop by sometime. You'll be glad you did!“
