This is the place for a doughnut, cookie or brownie. Besides having delicious chocolate and maple flavors, the bakery creates amazing flavors like German chocolate, cherry cheesecake and Smores doughnuts just to name a few. You never know what might be in the case the next time you come but you can bet it will be delicious! Just having amazing doughnuts, cookies and brownies isn't enough, the Mermaid has homemade soups! Look for the freezer and pick yourself up some soup. The depth of flavor they have is fabulous. A true comfort on a rainy day! Check Facebook for their daily offerings. Stop by sometime. You'll be glad you did!
We were recently at the bakery while on a road trip from Canada to the Oregon coast. My 10 year old daughter loved the bakery and we all enjoyed our delicious treats we got! These included scones, cookies, cotton candy and mermaid juice. Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing name, amazing baked goods. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we had. The maple whale donut was the real standout of the crowd. Nice crisp exterior giving way to a very light and fluffy chewy interior with a near perfect maple glaze in both consistency and flavor. The brownies were both also fantastic. We got the chocolate truffle and the caramel. They were the perfect compromise between people that like a well baked brownie and people like us that would eat the batter. The coffee cake was really tasty as well and I would happily get it again. We can't wait to come back to this deliciously whimsical bakery!

This was a fun little store; we have seen it while driving by and decided to stop on this trip.

Lots of great yummy's to pick from and some fun eclectic stuff in the gift shop for children of all ages.
The soft sourdough bread loaf was amazing!

I’ve stopped in a few times now when I’m the area. The staff were friendly and inviting. The cookies are my favorite even though all of the other treats I’ve tried are amazing as well.

This is a perfect little place for delicious sweet treats, great offer and unique gifts. The owner was so kind and was a joy to talk to. She knows about the area and she certainly knows her way around the kitchen. The chubby 1/4 lb cookies were to die for! I wish we would have bought more to bring home as souvenirs. This is a must stop shop!!
