This is the place for a doughnut, cookie or brownie. Besides having delicious chocolate and maple flavors, the bakery creates amazing flavors like German chocolate, cherry cheesecake and Smores doughnuts just to name a few. You never know what might be in the case the next time you come but you can bet it will be delicious! Just having amazing doughnuts, cookies and brownies isn't enough, the Mermaid has homemade soups! Look for the freezer and pick yourself up some soup....
We were recently at the bakery while on a road trip from Canada to the Oregon coast. My 10 year old daughter loved the bakery and we all enjoyed our delicious treats we got! These included scones, cookies, cotton candy and mermaid juice. Can’t wait to go back!
Amazing name, amazing baked goods. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we had. The maple whale donut was the real standout of the crowd. Nice crisp exterior giving way to a very light and fluffy chewy interior with a near perfect maple glaze in both consistency and flavor. The brownies were both also fantastic. We got the chocolate truffle and the caramel. They were the perfect compromise between people that like a well baked brownie and people like us that would eat the batter....
