Ocean Café & Bar is a wonderful little breakfast place and cafe located inside the Best Western Seaside, found along the promenade. The food and service are excellent, with a clean and lovely atmosphere. Breakfast options are plentiful and reasonably priced, including items like a salmon, egg, and cream cheese bagel, breakfast croissants with egg, cheese, and turkey sausage, fluffy pancakes, and lemon blueberry bread. They also serve lunch and dinner.
A popular special is Wednesday's Prime Rib Night, which is very filling. The salad is a tasty treat with a hint of microgreens. While the prime rib and some pastries can sometimes be less moist, there is plentiful au jus, horseradish, and cream cheese frosting to help. The drinks could be better, but the coffee, latte, and tea are good.
The staff is super friendly and provides amazing customer service, making everyone feel welcome and taken care of, even on busy nights. Orders are placed at a counter and food is brought to your table. It’s a great place to stop anytime during an oceanfront walk.
