Cute and cozy place to get a meal. We have had breakfast lunch and dinner there and always good food except the French dip meat was a bit dry. Other than that we’ve had many meals there and never unhappy. Jenny has been our waitress most often. She is quite a character. Happy silly attentive and so friendly. The diner is lucky to have her. She brightens up the place. The prices are reasonable for a small town but of course I would like them lower. We have sat inside with river views and outside under umbrellas on the deck over looking river. It’s beautiful and calming.

I spoke with Heather at Mac's Diner to arrange a birthday party for a friend of mine. She was extremely helpful and professional. She even called me the day before to inform me that in the event of bad weather (we reserved outdoors) that she had a space for us inside that was also handicapped accessible, (this was mentioned during our initial conversation). The event was absolutely perfect, along with the food and the service. I recommend Mac's Diner 100%!

My husband, son and I went here for Mother's Day. Sitting next to the river, while enjoying the best service by a lovely young lady, by the name of Ashley. We heard customer's around us state that Mac's is lucky to have miss Ashley. We hope to see her again for Father's day, as she made our service top notch. Ask for Ashley to wait on your table; you will not be disappointed. She'll make sure everything is taken care for you. Thank you to Mac's and your new team members.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have a great experience. The river view is fantastic, and while the interior is dated, it complements the memorabilia. It seems we were given the wrong menu, as the prices on our check were over 10% higher than those listed. The server adjusted the bill, but this shouldn't have happened. Every item—from the burger to the beer—was priced noticeably higher. I asked to replace the chipotle mayo with regular mayo, but the server mentioned they no longer include it on the burger. However, it was still there, and I’m not a fan of chipotle! The burger was well done. I know smash burgers are all the rage, but getting them juicy is a challenge. I typically give a restaurant two visits before reviewing, but this experience was just too much—sorry!

Stopped in during our anniversary road trip and am so glad we did. Everything was amazing from the view, the service, the food, and atmosphere. 100% recommend and we will definitely be back when we make it this far south again.

Not the Macs it used to be. They have changed their interior which looks nice. One server on a Saturday evening. She was really nice and attentive. Everything is smaller and more expensive. The chicken fried steak was similar, but still good. The gravy was ok, Mashed potatoes were lukewarm, and the Texas toast garlic bread was now 2 little baguette size. Pay extra for a smaller salad. Inflation I suppose. My meal was $25.00 with salad.
