“Newport on a Tuesday night. We drove to five restaurants before finding Zach’s Bistro. Although He was sold out of almost everything, we were able to get the most amazing dinner ever! Even my five-year-old grandson loved the food. I had the fish cakes, with artichoke and dill. Oh my goodness! It was amazing. My daughter had perfectly cooked salmon dinner. Desert was an awesome chocolate, berry and browned marshmallow. I am so happy we stumbled on this fine dining restaurant on the edge of Nye Beach area in Newport Oregon!“

“I would give this place all the stars, except that the parking is absolutely terrible. The side spots are for tiny cars. If you park in the rear, it's quite a long walk to the only entrance.

“We have enjoyed several visits to this restaurant and bar. Google thinks it’s a hotel. They recently changed the menu and removed some of our favorites. But what remains is still quite tasty for bar food. Rogue brews on tap and that’s always well received.“

“We were driving from Portland to San Francisco & stopped here for lunch. When we arrived we were told that there was a 45 min wait. We decided to wait because the views were great. We went for a walk & waited the 45 min. When we were seated we were put at a table that sat 2, but the water view was blocked in one seat & the other seat faced a wall (see attached pictures). We asked to be reseated but were told no. After we were served our food we never saw our waiter again. We were unable to get refills on our drinks & were not offered a dessert menu. If I were ever to drive past this area again, I doubt that I would stop here.“

“Six of us went to the coast for a long weekend trip and decided to bowl one of the days. When we got here, the place was rather busy, but the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating! The food was great, solid bowling alley food. Drinks were wonderful. And the lanes very well maintained.“

“Parking is difficult, but free. A 15 minute wait for dinner. The staff were polite and friendly. Of course the clam chowder was delicious and creamy.. the oyster stew was great. The cod and halibut fish and chips were excellent. The French fries are very good. And the calamari appetizers was good. The atmosphere was good.“

But Dani made the whole experience unforgettable — her kindness, her warmth, her service… it just hit different. We’re already planning to go back. “Of note, this Mo's does not do fried food and doesn't have the standard Mo's dishes. That said if you want more seafood options and a more seasonal menu, this is the place to go. Watching people unloading and cleaning fish and oysters just outside the window is definitely a plus

“I used to live in Oregon 12 years ago. Every time I was in Newport I would always stop and get the best halibut fish n chips from here. Now when we come to visit family in Vancouver WA. I will always make the trip down to South Bay to still get the best halibut fish n chips. Love this place.“

“We checked menus at area restaurants and found Sea Hags to be the most diverse. We ordered the halibut salmon braid with sautéed vegetables and crab cake appetizer and shared the meal between the two of us. It was plenty and so delicious. The halibut/ salmon was unique and delicately seasoned & served with a yummy sauce. We also each enjoyed a marionberry lemonade, not too sweet, but well flavored with plenty of berries. I would definitely come back plenty of other dishes I would order.“

“Great first time visiting to Rogue brewery! Enjoyed the Italian sub and a great dead guy ale. The bartender was very nice. Only down side is alot of merchsise is not available in store and nothing on line. Also sad growlers are no longer purchasable. Please add more merchandise to your website“

“When we walked in we were greeted by the sweet lady behind the bar. It was pretty busy since other restaurants were already closed. She did tell us they were out of chowder but we did not mind. We sat ourselves and did have a wait before our order was taken, but there was only one waitress managing 6 other tables. We had the chicken sandwich, chicken strips, fish and chips and all our food was great. No matter how busy it got our waitress kept her cool and just went with it and still provided great service.“

“A great buffet, lots of salad choices, 3 chickens, 6 pizzas choices, fruits, pastas and friendly people work there. Great view of the ocean and plenty of parking. 2 different visits lunch and dinner so telling friends and going back. Prices are good.“
