Famille Reviews
We had an amazing dining experience at Famille on July 26. Four of us went to the bar before dinner, which was fresh and gorgeous and the drinks were delicious!
We ate on the porch and three of us had steak and one halibut. All of our food was cooked to perfection and absolutely melt in your mouth. Our server, Sky, was friendly and warm and made great recommendations. We all shared the corn soufflé, the garlic mashed potatoes, mac n’ cheese and radicchio salad. We loved...read full review
We tried Famille on their 4th night open and it was nothing short of incredible. The food was unreal. We frequent places in Bend like RBC and Zydeco for our nicer date nights, but those restaurants didn’t even touch close to the flavor that our dishes had at Famille. The portion size, flavor and pricing on all of the dishes was amazing. We started with their espresso martini and their dill blue cheese martini and both were well priced and very enjoyable. Famille offers a wonderful dining experience with a beautiful, cozy, and relatively elegant atmosphere. Guests can enjoy sitting by a wood-burning fireplace, on a fresh and gorgeous porch, or at a lovely bar. The service is consistently described as excellent, fantastic, very good, friendly, and warm, providing 5-star service with great personality.
The food is very good, incredible, and amazing, with wonderful flavors. Specific highlights include steaks cooked to absolute perfection, such as a precise medium rare, and melt-in-your-mouth halibut. The steamed clams are noted as so good that the broth is enjoyed on its own. Sides, all large and shareable, receive high praise, particularly the superb corn soufflé and mac n’ cheese, alongside the garlic mashed potatoes and radicchio salad. The menu is à la carte. While most feedback is highly positive, a minor note mentioned a risotto served lukewarm and a steak salad overly drenched in dressing.
Drinks are excellent and delicious, complemented by a small but well-selected wine bottle list. Prices for the quality are considered lower than other higher-end steakhouses, making it a perfect place for a night out, a date night, or a dinner. Famille comes highly recommended for a great overall experience.
