I am so tired of seeing "pets" in the store. today a lady had her dog in the main part of the store cart. She was in the meat department. handing the dog around for people to pet. it was also barking. it was not a service animal. i asked. she just wanted to have it with her. i have pets. i do not want to take home any of the viruses that are going around the pet population. i do not want dog hair on my food. or fleas. the store manager says they can't ask about the animal. As a regular customer for over 30 years, having been a customer service rep in the past, it has always been common knowledge even on your worst days, to be cheerful to your customers. This morning, I had to tell a checker to stop being bitchy, and when I left, told her she needed to change her attitude. It could be cleaner. This small of a store should always look and smell amazing. Very rarely does it ever. Who wants to buy food from a place that the can return area next to the front door reeks of urine or mold? The floors are always gross, the restrooms are in dire need of an update. The produce is decently fresh if they have what you are looking for. Keeping things in stock seems to be a problem for this location storewide.
