My mom and I were traveling back home to Vancouver, WA from Spokane. We stopped at the Sinclair in town and they recommended Zim's as a great place to eat. We were not disappointed, we had the Smoked Turkey Bites and their fries. AMAZING! The turkey bites are smoked too perfection, they are like and taste like burnt ends, the fries were also amazing. While we were there, there were a couple of gentlemen that the bartender (they are regulars) keeping them from driving, she offered them food. The guys were great, happy drinkers. We called them to our table have them shut and chat with us, we were able to get car keys from them and sit and chat with them until their ride came. The atmosphere, the employees, the food, and the patrons are amazing. We had a great time chatting with them and making sure they weren't on the road driving. Thank you again Zim's we had a great time and we will be back!

Its newly updated bar/restaurant. Really good food and the prices arent bad. Staff was really nice. The atmosphere is fun. Its a busy place so arrive early especially on live music nights. This has become a regular spot for our friends and family!!

Zim's is a staple here in The Dalles. Whether you're looking for a good breakfast, or a cheap happy hour, Zim's has got you covered. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Always ask about the daily specials as they are always decent and aren't going to break the bank.

My wife and I live 60 miles away. We try to visit Zims once a month just for the music. We have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner there on more then one occasion. The service has always been good, and there prices are more then reasonable. In over ten years I can count on one hand how many meals we have had that were not at the standard we are used to having there.
