While there is flavor on the proteins, the side dishes might as well be orphans because there is absolutely no love at all! Green beans have only tasted the water from the can and the mac and cheese tastes just like that, noodles and cheese. I'm a huge fan of supporting local business but for the 30 dollars I just spent to treat myself, (which is rare these days), the very least , please use some salt and pepper. The brisket was dry as stated in other reviews.
Good brisket and sides. Decent prices for what you get
Great pork loin sandwich on poor boy bread (french roll). We have been coming for years. Only downside is the lightening. Its part of their atmosphere but too dark to see most of the time.
Very good sampler plates that we tried in the saloon off their happy hour menu. Pulled pork my favorite. Tater tots done to perfection.

I had my meal delivered, so I can't speak to the restaurant's service or atmosphere, but if they're anything like the food, they're probably excellent. I was craving BBQ, and this place did not disappoint. The potato salad, mac and cheese, ribs, pulled pork, and brisket were all delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

EXCELLENT STAFF !!! The meat server is AMAZING at his job. All the staff are great. The food is BEST BBQ I've ever had. Very very clean. Highly RECCOMEND 👍

I’ve never been a fan of self-service at a restaurant and try to avoid it at all costs, mostly to save my sanity, but watch me *happily* make an exception when someone suggests Busters!! All of my kids love it — one of our family’s absolute favorites! 😍

Terrible food. Didn’t even finish my plate, which is a first, especially for bbq.

Have been eating here since 1990. No joke. A classic. When you walk in the door, the aroma makes your mouth water. No better BBQ in Portland than Busters in my humble, but experienced, opinion.
Love the BBQ at Buster's! The best thing is to sit at the bar, order a drink and take out, and just enjoy some downtime. Plus I love that Buster's has a gluten-free menu! Thanks for that! My favorite is the brisket and orange ham. The BBQ and pinto beans and ribs are also fantastic! Yum.
