I have often enjoyed Buster's, plan to go again soon. I always get the fresh-roasted, hand carved turkey sandwich, fries, and veggie side. There is a great "fixin's bar" for sandwich add-ons and dipping sauces -- tomatoes, pickles, variety of sauces, all the good items to add to the savoriness of a meal. Cafeteria-style and quick service, with homey booths and also tables for larger groups. Conveniently close to 217/Barbur exit. Highly recommend!

This is some of the best barbecue I’ve had in Portland. I particularly like the brisket and the hot barbecue sauce. If you request it, they will do double fried fries, making them extra crispy, which is also quite tasty. The Poboy sandwiches are a terrific deal. You are encouraged to add lettuce, pickles, etc., from the condiment bar, which looks almost like a salad bar. It may sound funny, but this salsa and mayonnaise here are also extra good.

We just moved to Portland from South Alabama and this is truly southern BBQ! The atmosphere is nice and the staff is truly above and beyond. No complaints. Amazing food and a really clean restaurant too. We will definitely be regular customers and I encourage everyone else who wants authentic southern BBQ at a great price to come and visit here. I had two kids in tow and I felt welcomed. Great prices on kid meals too! Their pecan pie is amazing!

The best thing about this spot is the happy hour special! The food was bland and definitely not worth the $30 I spent. The meat lacked seasoning and my entire plate of food was cold . Inflation is showing the greed in the food industry.

When you order on any food service app it doesn’t mention that the combo comes with bread at all or give you an option to remove it. Their site has a whole list of gluten free items so we thought it would be safe but there was a piece of bread over the whole meal and I couldn’t eat any of it because I have celiacs.

Had lunch today with my wife here. Had brisket, beef ribs, beans, fries and baked potato. Everything was delicious. Ribs and brisket were tender and very flavorful!! Some of the best fries I have ever eaten. Service was great.

My brisket was dry and had more fat than meat. My husband ordered baby back ribs and there wasn't any meat on some of his ribs. The ribs that had meat tasted good but it was like little nibblets.
We had Busters cater our wedding in 2012, we like their food. The last 3 times the food was subpar and a lot more expensive. We will not be going back.

we ordered brisket and beef ribs combination to take out and the ribs were dry they were nothing but bone and fat, they had no meat anywhere, we called the restaurant to complain about the food and we spent 12 minutes with them, the manager just asking us stupid things like what color shirt the person who served us our food was wearing, do we really need to remember this? We told them we had pictures of the food but they could care less about providing good customer service, we mentioned that we would not be back and their response ‘that’s okay’ What kind of manager do they have running this place?
