This place is the most sorry excuse of a chicken place I've ever eaten never in my live have i had such terrible chicken its dry and the bread had zero crunch completely soft on top of that there is zero seasoning no amount of sauce could save this monstrosity you're better of going to a dairy queen.

Hen House is located in the central space of Bridgeport and is surrounded by plenty of lovely outdoor seating with covered spaces and nearby playground for the kiddos. Excellent price for the portions served; chicken was not overly greasy and the crinkle cut fries were crisp and well seasoned. I enjoyed the potato salad as well( garlic toast could have benefited with more garlic, tbh) but it was an extremely satisfying dinner with plenty of leftovers for dinner later.

I was looking for a quick snack before a movie so I got a single tender and fries. This was a full on meal for $7. Everything was hot and fresh. Legit fried and the chicken tender was very good and HUGE.

Definitely better than Raising Canes, I ordered the “Lil Clucker” and it was $7.25 for the meal. It came with one tender, fries, bread, sauce, and an amusing chicken squeaker toy. The food was hot and the wait was relatively quick. The buttermilk ranch and fries were great, although the tenders were a bit lacking in flavor. Otherwise, everything was good and I’d definitely skip over Raising Canes for the Hen House.

Great value! We got the rooster for a family of 4 (two toddlers) and it was the perfect amount of food. A pretty fantastic Canes clone— though I would prefer the original Canes-style toast over garlic toast. Garlic doesn’t quite work. Wife would have preferred regular lemonade over the strawberry lemonade as well. Other than that, no notes! I actually like their house sauce better than Canes!

The food was amazing. The staff was amazing. So my son and u can really eat a lot of food. He is 12 and in baseball and is growing fast so food is his life right now. Haha. I ordered the 4 tender meal with fries, 2 sauces and instead of a side I got an extra garlic toast. It was way more food than we expected. We shared it and were both very full after. The tenders were so juice and delicious. The breading was great and didn't overwhelm the flavor of the chicken. The fries were so amazing. So crunchy and my son said they were the best fries he has ever had. I will say this was the best chicken tenders I have ever had. We talked about it all day. The staff was so friendly and genuine. Always asking if we needed anything else. Their names were Dustin and Olander. For once it was nice to see younger kids working and not on their phones. It was nice to see kids working and not acting like they didn't want to be there. My full family of 4 will be back there soon and hope they are both working again. Thank you for the food and experience.
