The katsu sauce is one-dimensional and lacks the complexity of a house-made glaze. The cabbage is clunky rather than finely shredded, and the bread is a far cry from true shokupan—it’s crumbly and lacks that signature pillowy 'pull.' It’s a great space for a photo, but a disappointing stop for a meal.

We came in and were told they were out of all meat products. We decided on the shrimp option and some fries. We ordered a drink and it took 20 minutes to be made even though we were the only people in the restaurant. The food arrived before the drink did. Additionally, the bathrooms were not very clean and they were missing trash bags. For a $40 bill, this is not a place I would recommend.

Waited 30 minutes for our food and were just then told they were out of pork. We subbed chicken. Food came another 15 min later. Sandwich wasn’t even cut in half and half no sauce. We were sharing the sandwich. Also got a Ceasar. It had no dressing and no croutons. Definitely won’t be returning. It’s so expensive for such poorly made food. At least the fries were good.

I got the spicy chicken katsu, it tasted really good the the chicken was perfectly seasoned, the spice was good, and the breading was perfect. This would've been a 5 star food but it had coleslaw I should've said no coleslaw. Still a really great place, would recommend.
Got some chicken katsu sandwich and some chicken katsu nuggets. It was good as we thoroughly enjoyed the food. Plenty of space to sit and eat inside. Service was quick and nice.

Fantastic first experience! Ordered the spicy tofu sandwich. The bread was soft, tofu was seasoned well and fries were hot and fresh. Clean space with wonderfully friendly staff. Can’t wait to return to try the egg salad and more.

The food here is incredible, we ate way more than we were expecting to. We got the Pork Katsu Sando and the Chicken Japanese Curry and both were great. The tables were a little dirty but overall experience was 5 stars.
