Very busy so we expected better. Unfortunately this place gave my family food poisoning. We were there 2 hours ago and we are all terribly sick. The rice tasted like mold.. 2 orders came out wrong. My daughter enjoyed soccer on TV though. Overall seems like they are using old food to save money.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant hands down! Everything we've tried there has been so good but their sopes con carne have been my favorite food for years. Two sopes with rice and beans split between my partner and I leaves us both full for under $25. It's hard to feed two people for that price these days. They also have an extra spicy oil you can ask for for those looking for a little more kick. I LOVE spicy food and the oil is comfortably at the higher end of spicy for me. The staff have never been anything but friendly, patient and welcoming. Taqueria la Fuente is the perfect underrated hole in the wall restaurant that locals know and love.Parking: We've never had a problem not immediately finding a close spot.
We finally had our first visit to Taqueria La Fuente (husband has been wanting to go there for ages) and it was perfect. The salsa was good (that first mouthful made my brain scream "summer" with its freshness and flavor while we sat there in our heavy winter wear). The margarita was so good. I'm mostly a tea-totaller but I tried a sip of my husband's margarita and wanted to keep sipping and sipping but managed to stop myself. I ordered the generously filled, shredded beef BURRITO ENCHILADO. Husband ordered tacos and the tortillas for his tacos were fresh and hand made. That's the best. It's always a bummer to go somewhere and have expectations of what you will be served only to be disappointed. Our orders met our expectations exactly and more. Lovely service; warm and welcoming. We will be back.

Had a delightful meal. Great salsa, and the main meal of huarache with carne asada was amazing. They brought salsa verde and salsa rojo (hot) to the table. Delicious. The fajitas elite and the tortillas are made by hand and are fresh. Their tostadas are crisp not crunchy and the serving is huge. It’s Mexican with a little twist of American. The chips and salsa is to die for too. The salsa is a soft spice. The pósole is red and has a soft spice does not burn. I asked for corn tortillas and they were made by hand.
