Always a treat to stay at timberline and enjoy the dining room. We usually just have sandwiches in the car, so this time was extra special. Came here to say good job to everyone working hard during our busy new year stay, we see you. The fancy butter trio and the upgraded crystal water glasses really stole the show for me. Bravo
I’d really love to give a better rating but for porcini bisque was basically a block of melted butter , way too creamy, impossible to eat .
The burger, $28 burger was extremely over salted and dry, on top of that they charge five 5️⃣ dollars extra fee to split it for the two kids.

A Hidden Gem at Timberline Lodge!
I honestly wasn’t expecting great food at a place where the main attraction is clearly Mt. Hood—yet the Cascade Dining Room completely blew me away. The salad was unbelievably fresh, the cheese plate had an impressive variety of snacks, the risotto was excellent, and the chicken… wow. Easily one of the top three chickens I’ve had in my life (and I’ve tried many!). Truly a hidden gem at Timberline.
