The Bartender man here in the little shed is amazing. My husband and I asked if we could start a fire in a gazebo so we could read our books in peace and quiet and he not only started a new fire for us away from everyone else in a separate gazebo. He brought over some more firewood for us and kept it burning without us even asking. Thanks again sir for the incredible service!

You sure as hell don’t want to catch Alaina from the little red barn at the end of her shift. The woman infront of me wanted an actual wine glass for her wine, the bartender sneered and reluctantly agreed to give her actual glass instead of plastic. She was loudly going on and on about how it’s been a day and her shift can’t end any sooner. When giving us our stamps we received attitude. This was the last stop in the mcmenamins Edgefield property and we’d been served all afternoon. I asked for her name and told her I was writing a complaint because she was very unpleasant. She chased me out the barn and told me I’m cut off.

Great bartender. Delicious Manhattan, and hands down best shed I've ever had a cocktail in ?. Ohh, and loved that you can buy a full cup of shelled nuts to drop on ground as you eat them for $1.

Beth was super sweet and even came out to check to make sure that the fire had enough logs. Give Beth a great tip she deserves one.

Super great little spot. It's a cozy atmosphere and worth hanging out for a long time. I wish you could still smoke a cigar in here, it's a spot that would have been magical to smoke in. Bring a jacket, it's warm but not toasty.

This was my second trip to the Edgefield and it did not disappoint. The building evokes a feeling of nostalgia for a time gone by. Cozy nooks for reading or visiting, great little “pubs” for a libation, a fun gift shop, and excellent restaurants. We were a group of 3 couples, and sharing “room tours” was a highlight. Watch for surprises hidden in the fabulous artwork. The grounds are gorgeous and a soak in the hot pool is a must. I appreciated the lack of TV’s in the rooms.
The bartender at the golf course is horrible. We waited for 10 minutes in line to check in for our tee time. When we finally got to the front of the line, she said we were too late and could not play golf. We would have made it had she not been so slow (which caused the long line). We drove all the way there just to play golf. Thanks for ruining our birthday outing.
I was under the impression this facility would be handicap accessible. I am disabled and my back sometimes locks up if I walk too much. This issue with my back leaves me unable to walk. I was having a bad back day and asked the front desk if they had a wheelchair and they said no. So I was forced to walk so far to the location of the wedding rehearsal that I couldn't participate in the rehearsal because of how much pain I was in. Kimberly, the employee who was assigned to the wedding, grabbed a chair immediately and was super accommodating. She informed me that there is an ADA golf cart to assist people getting around the large property. She mentioned it's usually only available during the evening, which is ridiculous because disabled people are disabled 24/7. My husband and I realized that he could also drive right up to where I needed to be. The person I dealt with at the front desk was completely incompetent. The venue and staff I dealt with were not accommodating to my disability in the least. The wedding coordinator, who was a friend of the bride, was more accommodating than this establishment.
I met my family here as a starting point for our reunion. We had lunch at the Loading Dock Grill. No line. Service was good and so was the food. If we had more time, we would have definitely stayed longer. Lots to see and do.
