The tea rooms are beautifully decorated and the cup and saucer collection is impressive. The servers were so kind and attentive, and the views of the lake add to the ambiance. We love this place!“

“The person who said this place is dangerous is correct. I usually hate desserts not made by myself so I went it with low expectations but WOW. SO GOOD! Not dry at all which is usually my compliant. My kids got a brownie (HUGE!!) and a chocolate cupcake and they wouldn’t stop talking about how amazing it was. I got the Gay Bar because the owner said it had almond in it which I’m a sucker for. It was PERFECT!“

Their fresh fruit is the bomb and Chocococo was my favorite but looking forward to trying more varied desserts and savories next time! Great handmade gift items that are Japanese and mostly cats or dog themed, really cute. Definitely going back!“

“It was really nice inside friendly people the cookies were great everything was in stock I ordered ahead so when I got there they packed everything up for me freshly everything was made really pretty their cookies make you not want to eat them because they are so pretty but they're so delicious everyone should enjoy them this go round, I will give crumble 5 stars. Each thing that I purchased was amazing. The chocolate chip thins, we're definitely amazing. The dubai biscoff brownie is out of this world and the oatmeal cookie is so moist and delicious. Need to train people in customer service. Maybe I’m just getting old but a greeting when you come in, or even just an acknowledgment would be nice.

The cookies are always fresh, warm, and exactly what you hope for when the pink box comes out—but what really stands out is the management. “Tried the seasonal eggnog cake. If tiramisu met a white sheet cake at the holiday party and got sloppy together - it would be this cake. The moisture and flavor of the eggnog soaked the cake from the bottom up. The creamy icing on top sprinkled with nutmeg brought home the tiramisu vibe. “This is one of the only shave ice places in the area with an actual ice shaver. The chai/ginger combo with sno cap was as expected. And the ginger was spicy! The ice is creamy and melts in your mouth.

I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for authentic shave ice with excellent homemade syrups.“

“I was so excited to learn that Carvel was finally in Oregon. Coming from the east coast over 20 years ago, it's been a while since I've enjoyed Carvel ice cream. I got the Sundae with the cinnamon bun on the bottom. Wow it was so delicious!! There were 3 tables with chairs, and the restroom was clean and spacious. Also they have a take-home case which looked well stocked. It's a bit of a drive, but I'll be back for sure!“

“La Provence in Beaverton is our favorite location in this excellent chain, and we always enjoy their wonderful food when we are visiting the area. Their bakery has suppled us with many welcomed hostess or celebration gifts (oh, those macarons!) over the years. The staff is excellent as well (hi, Cory, thanks again!). Highly recommended.“

“I was so upset (excited) when they announced this store opening. Now I have to walk by this amazing smell factory every day and fight the urge to eat cookies for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!! All jokes aside though, insomnia is the best. Their macadamia nut cookies are my go to. Peanut butter is a close second. Straight up sugar cookies are banger. Can’t go wrong with the chocolate chip. Mmm and the double chocolate mint. Should be illegal to be that scrumptious, or as my grandma would say, “scrumpt-dilly-icious!”

We usually get the combo pack, sometimes with the ‘deluxe’ cookies, which are pricier but also bigger and freaking deLICIOUS. If you can’t tell, I love and highly recommend insomnia cookies!“
