“We went on a random Thursday to check out the live music. Michael Taylor played a great set and the food was really good as well. We were pleasantly surprised with the $10 Burger Thursday deal, and the mixed drinks were delicious, though they seemed light on the alcohol.Parking: Very small parking lot on a busy road.“

“This is classic American Chinese like I grew up with. As soon as I found Blue Willow that was it. I won't go anywhere else. Their flavors are good and the fried foods are fried in clean oil, never had an off taste. This last order was the only one I had an issue with. Always arrives hot but this driver had another stop so when it got to me it was lukewarm. But the food is good.“

We each had a cider and got 2 bar snax to eat What we had was a unexpectedly wonderful time The bartender, Nicole, was great!! The food was just what we wanted and the ladies room was CLEAN! The drinks are superb and service is of course perfect BUT can be slow to get a table on a busy night even if you've made a reservation. The man who ordered right before me and sitting at the same table got his food, then I noticed others after me getting food as well. I was playing a game on my phone thing well anytime now. The young girl came By with food and asked I ordered this I said no. Still no food. The guy sitting next to me finished his food and Sid I guess they have to kill a chicken for your order. I just ordered 16 wings and mozzarella cheese sticks not a hard order. 45 min now go by and I ask about my food and still nothing. I then asked the guy hey can I just get a refund and he said well you food has been done it was just sitting in the back for 10-15min. ????? I then asked can I get warm it warmed up cause if it’s sitting that’s not cool. He was like well you have your food now. He then brought me money and said I can give you money back for the mozzarella cheese sticks, but not the wings, I said, I am not asking for a refund. All I want is a warm food cause it’s been sitting back there. I asked for a manager and he said that’s him. Well then can I talk to someone over you. He then told me to google I wings and I can get the number back to the restaurant and it would be him I would be talking too. He brought me over a yellow pad I left my number and still have not a call back.“

“Went here last month to celebrate a family member turning 21. It was a super good time and the bartender was super nice and helpful and made me a drink that he's never made before. “The owner has been getting a lot of remodeling work done in the place, both inside & out. Bathrooms redone, nice brand new solid wood accented with colored resin bar tops. Freshly painted. Inside & out. Nicely rebuilt deck outback for smoking & or food & drinks if you choose. Poker machine area redone, pool tables have brand new bumpers & felt. It really is amazing. I didn't even recognize the place when I walked in it definitely is a step up from when it used to be called Jakes. I definitely recommend a trip there. & hey any BIKERS out there??!! Depending on where you're riding from it's a nice ride & it's just a few miles heading west bound on HWY-22 off the I-5 & it's only about 6 blocks max from HWY-22. PHILL'S Bar & Grill is located on the corner of 12th St. SE & Rural AVE SE in Salem Oregon. Hit it up ya won't be disappointed that's for sure. Want to have fun there are 7 or 8 pool tables to choose from ( my Ol' Man & I love to play a few 4-5 games of pool.) its also got the same amount of lotto machines if you like to try your luck @ some video poker or slots. Or if you just want to come in & get some food & have a few drinks. Either way it's a great place to do whatever you like. I highly recommend itParking: If the front parking lot is full they have parking out back & on the road if need be. Most of the time you'll have no problem with parking, although if there is a pool tournament happening parking might be a little tricky.Wheelchair accessibility: Both front & back doors are wheelchair friendly“

“I had just stopped in after being on my bicycle all day. Played $20.00 and won. Friendly corner neighborhood atmosphere. Bar tender was prompt at addressing me,and even tho I declined a beverage other than water,she was STILL friendly and attentive. First impressions are everything,however,it IS A BAR,so my experience and the time of day may have been contributing factors to the pleasantness,yet,it DID seem as people were coming in everyone was familiar with everyone.
