I got lectured for signing up for a song after I finished one.? (It’s not my fault no one signed up) She Puts whoever she wants up. So that’s a bummer… But still a great place to grab a drink and socialize!!!“

“The Phily Cheese Steak sandwich was delicious. So were the fries. Low key - we were there at lunch with our grandson - and it was easy to hear and to visit with each other. It's near our home, a bonus. It's not the dive that we remember from 20 years ago (we're slow to give bad experiences a second chance when there are so many options in town.) We'll go for lunch again and take some friends with us.“

“This has been such a happy surprise. Bethany the bartender has the best energy and way w all the customers. Rita’s Taco Truck is phenomenal, my mouth is watering just thinking about their food, Able and his mom are a DREAM TEAM. Only reason I didn’t give five stars across the board is because the smoking area is rather large and the smell can be smelled inside.“

“This review is to help fellow foosball players. This may be the only Tornado table in town. With a little care this table could easily be cleaned up, leveled a little, and made into a league table. Some of the balls could stand to be replaced, but there are at least 9 of them. The cost is $.50 a game, and the table is unlocked.
The atmosphere of the bar is ok, about what you would expect, but there is plenty of room around the table for play on most nights I would think. I was surprised and happy to find this table as the website for the bar only mentioned that there was some other brand of table, not a Tornado table. Thanks to the owners for bringing Salem a good place to play.“

“Went here last month to celebrate a family member turning 21. It was a super good time and the bartender was super nice and helpful and made me a drink that he's never made before. It was really awesome sitting at the bar and being able to watch sports up close. The food was pretty darn good. I would also recommend this place because the price wasn't half bad either.

“I have been going here for the past 8 years. I have seen this place go from super good service, to bad service. Lately I feel like the service is getting better again. “But in this place twice in last month both times I hit pretty good on the poker machines how to spend a little bit of money to get it but still my boyfriend however didnt do very well, I hit a flush at Max bet within the fever I got seven flushes so seven more fevers there's only two that I tried that I did not get but for Max bet and only playing 250 out not a very good payout I would expect a little bit more but that's just Oregon lottery for you but other than that the people who work there are very nice and it's pretty laid back and welcoming I guess you could say“

But have had some off putting experiences with a couple of the staff being unfriendly and/or out of line (mentioned something about my personal life when we had never met before. Super weird). Went there on Christmas and left after only half my drink because even the manager was unfriendly. “They could improve by not letting their patrons getting harassed by old drunk bigots. I've never been called so many slurs in a short period since it was socially acceptable to do so. Times have changed but they clearly allow this behavior and. it is UNACCEPTABLE. The bartender was a complete bystander and did absolutely nothing other than acknowledging that the situation happened. "You're in the wrong bar" I was told. I'm definitely going to let some local sources know about this so we can keep these haters away.“

There is an two individuals that work during the day that have been great nothing like over the top up your ass type of waiting on you but definitely attentive to people's needs friendly and seem genuinely like they are there and just good people. However we had one experience in the evening time that my boyfriend could not stand the bartender which I don't disagree we never got service except for we went up there and she served us the most expensive tequila there was after we asked for Jose cuervo and we were told that they don't carry that so we said we'll give us something different she gave us something that was $18 is insane. And then never came and waited on us were checked on us after that. All she seemed to care about was one of the guys sitting on the other side of the bar. So I'm going to give it a 4 out of 5 and be generous because of the day shift people. It's a guy and a really nice girl.“

She is very kind hearted treats every one the same no matter who it is or were you come from, as long as your respectful. “Staff was prompt and responsive. I ordered the Prime Rib Special. It came out remarkably fast. Medium rare as requested. Unfortunately the baked potato was over done and yet cool. The prime rib was lukewarm. The horseradish sauce was off- I can’t tell why but it had a peculiar flavor that should not have been there. Seasoning of the prime rib was on point and so was the zip sauce. I wasn’t feeling up to potential confrontation so when they asked how the food was I just said good. With prime rib it’s hard because if they warmed it then it might not have come back medium rare…also there was no steak knife but again I didn’t ask“

“Best place to get a little buzzy with your homies. I definitely get the vibe that this place is lgbtqia+friendly. The Jell-O shots are boozy! Tacos are crunchy, or soft, depending on your preference. Lots of eligible hott single dudes on Tuesday nights for trivia. But not Thursdays. Just Tuesdays for hot guys. And tacos. And Sarah the most attentive and friendly and caring bartender a real badass with great taste in music. Witty! A true gem. Love this place! My Tuesday family. “I gotta admit that when I went to this bar, I just left a friend's place and had 35$ to spend. Being that I like playing slots, and just came out this way from Cali, I saw the lottery sign so I stopped in. I used to work managing an event center with 4 bars. And the bartender that was working has great customer service. I didn't get her name as my focus was getting to the slots. I B-lined it to the little yet spacious area where I could take a seat in front of a machine. The bartender had a full house as there were a few young guys hanging out, amongst other patrons. She played the music of their choice, making drinks, didn't forget to acknowledge me or anyone at the machines, had a nice clean bar and catered to the guests there to watch the football game with ease and a great attitude. She had total control of her bar and took care of a typical bar/drinking situation where she had to cut off one of the younger guys. She handled herself well and used responsible judgement in doing so without offending anyone and without cause of a sense of disruption or urgency. I just had to say I've been to a great many bars and one thing for sure if I see that an employee of a drinking establishment has control while maintaining a great customer service attitude it allows me to relax and have drink or 2 and enjoy my time. $35 well spent.“

“It's a very small bar, and it feels a bit cramped, especially when karaoke gets started. The bartender on a Saturday was quick and friendly. The drink prices were average. So if you like a well tended bar, but don't mind a crowd, this is a good place to have a drink.“
