I was excited to visit since the remodel because the public pool used to be the place we'd go in high school. I think I liked it better then. The pools were cramped and nothing deep to really swim. I found 50% of amenities broken (lockers, canopies, showers to pool, gates to pool, water filling station) and it wasn't well kept with dirty cushions, trash cans, and floor. The warm springs are amazing! We went early June and the weather was 50 degrees with a bit of rain. It was perfect. Basking in the 90 degree pool was beautiful with almost no one around. The other stuff was fun and all, but the hot springs was the best pool-like thing I've ever been in. Would totally recommend adding to your family Oregon trip as a way to relax, and slow life down! So yeah, just spend 5 hours a day in the lazy river and you're good to go.
