“Hello! my friends and I were visiting Astoria for a week when we came across this Goldmine of a Bar and Restaurant! The first day we came we had the BEST Bartender we've ever had! Not only is her service impeccable but her sense of humor and friendliness is just outright contagious! Kelly is her name and I give her 10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 out of 5!!! Now the second time we came we had to try the Prime Rib. Best decision EVER and we found out that Kelly is also the cook so we knew we were in for a treat and boy howdy it did not disappoint! Excellent flavor, cooked perfectly an overall experience I tell you what. We will definitely be back and I hope Miss Kelly NEVER goes anywhere! Go check this place out if you're ever in the Astoria area!!!“

My parents are originally from the area so it's neat to hear stories.The Pot Bunker is a comfy place to relax with a beer on a chilly winter day and make new friends. I will totally visit again.“

“Oh man, this place is a hidden gem in Astoria. Yakimon is a secret bar upstairs from the already cool downstairs tiki bar at Deadman’s Isle. With just a few seats at the bar, surrounded by Japanese relics, and a great drink menu featuring whiskey highballs, sake, and specialty Japanese cocktails, it’s such a fun way to immerse in Japanese culture. The bartenders, especially Sam, are attentive and helpful, and the food menu kicks ass with potstickers, spam musubis, and yakisoba. It’s the only spot like it you’ll find on the North Coast.“

“Huge shot out to Merry Time Bar. My wife and I have not been able to shoot pool since before COVID-19. This was how we met so it brought back a ton of wonderful memories. Plus the games were only 50 cents. Talk about a deal. We have recently started to play pinball, and this bar is a dream come true. As a new player it was amazing to get a few high scores, and we look forward to the comedy night—as she used to perform in our hometown as an opener for national talent—and, of course, the pinball competitions and special days. A big thank you to the owner. It was an absolute treat to play some of the top games ever made and they were all in good condition. As a small business owner, I understand how difficult it is to run a good company, and this one is top notch. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and drop in for a wonderful night. I cannot recommend enough!!!“

“Nice place to play some pool or shuffle board (complementary).Affordable drinks. Just a bit sad that there's no list with the drinks we can choose from. There's only a chalkboard with a list of beers on tap.Tieler makes some great non-alcoholic drinks but those are apparently off menu and other bartenders have no idea what I'm asking for (they're still willing to mix something up for me though).We love the non-conservative atmosphere.“

“My family's first trip to Astoria for a wedding at Pier 39 and we decided to stop by Silver Salmon for dinner. We definitely had a few adult beverages and had a great evening and even better food! Our waiter, Patrick was so wonderful and attentive and even when I left my wallet there he and the manager kept it safe for me till the next day!! 10/10 recommend for quality food and staff!“

“The food is lower priced than most places and the staff is very friendly. I love the Kareoke there but I don’t recommend going on Fridays. The DJ tends to pick her favorites and let them sing multiple times while everyone else maybe gets in 1 song in 2 hours.“
