“One of my favorite food carts. This review is overdue. I been getting their sandwiches before 2016?The Karver and blazing clown on English muffin is what I always get.I generally call ahead since the wait can be 20-30 min during peak breakfast times. The foster food carts have some generally seating area.“

“Walked up to this place with no expectations. Felt like the menu was a little boring and not expecting much. Got my sandwich and have now found my new favorite breakfast sando. English muffin was more like a homemade cross between a muffin and a biscuit. Sausage patty is thick, juicy with hints of rosemary. I just wish they had a better selection of hot sauce. Will be back next weekend.“

“5 stars isn't enough for this place.
Bertie Lou's truly reflects Portland: small, and a little rough, but fast, with spot on service, and the tastiest food.
If you appreciate the dive bar side of city life then everything about this place is perfect. The tight counter, with seats that move like a rollercoaster, allowing an up close and personal view of the cooks (in the tightest galley kitchen) as they sling breakfast faster than a chicken could lay the eggs they're serving; the back and forth of the friendliest servers I've met (outside of Stepping Stone Cafe) as they chat whilst balancing bundles of heavily filled plates to tables at the rear, all while enjoying banter with fellow diners as we sit, absorbing this activity. It's truly bloody mesmerizing.
I know, we all have our favourite eateries, but I encourage you to find some time to stop here for breakfast (or lunch) and enjoy what may become one of the few remaining vestiges of 'real Portland' dining.
Parking: Plenty of residential parking.“

“This is a nice casual place to meet friends for brunch, there is something for everyone. The staff are nice and the food comes out fast. I had a teriyaki tofu sandwich on gluten-free bread. It had a pretty generous portion of marinated tofu, and the maple dressing on the side salad was great. There are not loads of super exciting vegan options to choose from, but everything is fresh, most things can be made gluten-free, and they serve Stump Town coffee. “The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is warm. The food is mostly good for an American restaurant chain. Something of note, they do add buttermilk wheat pancake batter to most egg dishes that use the carton egg mix, except for the scrambled eggs, which does change the texture and flavor of the eggs quite a bit. There's plenty of parking and they have highchairs for kids. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained, but the toilet paper... one step away from becoming writing paper. It's the worst toilet paper I've ever used in my life. Why does this type of toilet paper exist? Was there a surplus from some WW2 era torture compound on clearance? A bulletproof armor experiment gone bad? It's like they ran an old pancake through a laminator. I've seen breath fog up a window thicker than this. If you eat here, sneak in and leave a roll of Charmin, save a life. 🥁 😂
Dietary restrictions: There are several low fat options or high protein, such as fish and vegetables. All of the egg dishes that use carton eggs except scrambled, have pancake batter that contains wheat added to them though.
Parking: Large open parking lot.
Kid-friendliness: They have highchairs and a few kids menu items for those under 12.
Wheelchair accessibility: There's wheelchair accessible seating.“

“Nice little spot. Visiting from Va. We did the BYOB with the biscuit and gravy, scrambled egg, hash browns and turkey bacon extra crispy! We also tried the almond French toast! The food was fresh and made to order and came out perfect! That almond French toast is absolutely amazing! Our server was awesome and took great care of us. Highly recommend.“

“Biscuits have always been pretty good. The West Linn Biscuits Meat Lovers Omelet was loaded vs the OC Biscuits. But the OC is also very good. Just noticed it was better at this location. Always depends on the cook on duty. The biscuits were soft and dreamy, bacon crisp just like we asked. Overall a very nice breakfast!Service could have been slightly better with coffee (asked twice) and getting us the bill quickly after we said no to extra coffee and asked for to-go box. But still not bad service by no means, just could be a tad more quicker. We will definitely come back here.“
