Starbucks in Allentown

“Lexi was working the front counter and did a wonderful job explaining the new coffee that was available aswell as describing what comes in a Gingerbread Chai drink so I could dial back the sweetness. Wonderful overall customer service! She went above and beyond what I’m used to at other Starbucks“

“I typically do not have an issue here at all. It’s super convenient for me because I work across the street in the large corporate center. I work in mental health, so I often look forward to a Starbucks after a long stressful day.

Today however, I came to the counter and the barista just stared at me for several long seconds, and didn’t say a word. I was not bothered by this truthfully. I’ve encountered some harsh stare downs during the day from people my office works with to the general individual believing that I can read their mind, haha. So really not bothered.

What did bother me though, was that right before me she did not treat the other customer in front of me in this manner. So this made me question if I did something to upset her. Her body language, truthfully, was not friendly, and I completely understand I sound like a nitpicky person who may allude to asking for the metaphorical manager… trust me I’m not. Not at all.

I initiated the conversation to place my order. I asked the typical pleasantries. “Hello, how are you?” I received a curt “Hi”, and then a continued stare down, when I placed my order, she looked annoyed, and from what appeared to me, was some not so nice looks in my general direction, and some hush conversation with the other baristas. However, I couldn’t hear what they were saying so, that’s ultimately not that important.

After this occurred, I went to the pick up area and was browsing on my phone. The next person to order was a Target employee, and it was like a complete 180 degrees in body language and overall tone. The barista was very friendly, engaging the employee in conversation.

My drink was being worked on and then sat down to do the employees drink. Then they made mine and it was warm and the ice nearly melted. One of the baristas all but slid it down the counter to me, and the entire bottom was soaking wet. Myself and the employee both asked for a napkin. They brought the napkin’s immediately to the employee and I had to ask again for a napkin so I could wipe my drink.

The one barista rolled her eyes and another barista handed me a napkin.

I took a sip of the coffee, and ended up throwing it away when I got home because I had asked for sugar free vanilla and I was given full sugar vanilla. I thought I would be okay if I took my time, but after gastric bypass, sugar tolerance is very low.

Now, again, I understand everyone has off days and overall bad days, but this was the first time I ever had an issue here so I’m honestly letting it slide.

I hope that the barista (I didn’t catch her name) has a much better day tomorrow. We all have good and bad days, so hopefully tomorrow is a bit better. ?“

“People messed up my order couple times. Even I clearly said hot they make cold drink.
This place is small and setting arrangement is too tight. Through the summer AC was not working. And portables were not enough to keep the place cold.

I was so upset when I spent $7 for drink and I brought it back saying I ordered hot drink. Register lady said this is only can make it as iced drink.
But at other location of Starbucks - 750 Krocks rd - on Tuesday, January 20th around 1 pm I order same drink and they prepared it as hot drink.
Starbuck s quality and services going down. I am Starbucks ‘s customer is from 2008. Mostly ordering same hot drink (Match latte) for all this years. Recently, I have to ask to stir well while preparing latte, because the match power lumps are floating in drink.“

“Walking into this Starbucks felt like stepping into a caffeine-powered paradise tucked inside a Target. The staff didn’t just make my drink—they crafted it with the precision of a NASA launch. These baristas aren’t just baristas, they’re beverage wizards, pulling espresso shots like they’re summoning lightning bolts from the coffee gods themselves. ⚡️☕️

They were so fast I swear they bent the laws of time. One second I ordered, the next second—BAM—perfect drink in my hand like a caffeinated magic trick. I was expecting “quick service,” but not “did I just enter another dimension where drinks appear instantly?” quick.

And the people? Nicest humans ever. I felt like I was being adopted into the Starbucks-Target family. If they had asked me to sign adoption papers on the spot, I’d have done it while sipping my latte.

Long story short: this Starbucks deserves a standing ovation, a Broadway show, and maybe even a parade through the Target aisles. 🎉🎺

10/10 would recommend. If I could, I’d give them so many stars that NASA would call and ask me to stop messing with their galaxy maps. 🌌✨“

“Staff are competent, efficient, and helpful. The facility is clean. But seating is minimal (in both quantity and comfort) if you are "dining in" and the outdoor seating currently only sits two and provides little to no shade depending on the weather and time of day.

Vegetarian options: "Impossible" meat substitutes and a variety of non-dairy milk options“

The coffee is wonderful and the atmosphere makes sitting and working within their cafe all the more relaxing and enjoyable!

Definite reccomend to coffee lover in the area!“
