Starbucks in North Wales

“I recently just moved back to the area from the West Coast and hadn't gone to a Starbucks on the East Coast since my return last October 2025 I decided I'm going to go. I'm going to get my usual two shots of espresso over ice with a side of sweet cream. Nothing crazy. No special instructions or anything like that. I went in. I got it. It looked really I don't know watered down in the cup. It just didn't seem like the thick, dark espresso liquid that I'm used to getting from Starbucks. I don't know if they've changed their beans or their machines. I'm not even really sure, but it does not taste the same...it tastes weak. I like a strong punch in the face of espresso. I used to live in Italy. I know espresso. I'm not really sure what changed but I went in I told them I was not satisfied. Wasn't sure what the problem was. They offered to remake it. I decided to leave as soon as I got to my car I said well at least let me give my money back like I gave them a tip and everything. If I'm not happy with the drink then I'm going to get my money back. So I went back in I said hey you know can I just get a refund? I gave them the drink back and they said 'yeah Sure, no problem'. They had offered to remake it and I was like you know what I'm just going to get a coffee somewhere else. It's cool. Apparently the district manager was there. He was very very nice, very professional. So was everyone in there. I'm not complaining about the service or the staff. In fact, I'm not complaining at all because corporate is the one that has the strings on the beans LOL. They remade the coffee. I put the refund in their tip jar because like they said it wasn't about the money. It's not about the money to me either. Just trying to get a good cup of coffee and a nice jump start in the morning. So I just want to say thank you to the district manager. He was very sweet. Very professional came right up to me, asked me if everything was all right so I just want to say thank you for making the experience seamless even with having a dissatisfied customer through no fault of their own! I have been enjoying the sweet cream that they sell in the grocery stores now and have been making coffee at home so it could be a bunch of different variables however the staff was terrific 😇“

“Located inside the target this Starbukcs is busy location and packed with long lines. There were 2 people working in that shift one taking order and other elder person filling the orders. Both did great job to get the orders out. Kudos to that team. We ordered chai latte and hot chocolate. Both tasted good.“

“4/5 stars for two things: one of the bathrooms was in not so great condition (which isn’t entirely the staffs fault; people are gross), and the Verona coffee (black) I got was much lighter/watered down than what I normally get with this order. I was passing through the area so I didn’t ask them to remake it but had I tasted it in-house, I’d have definitely requested a new cup.

Staff was friendly, tending to their duties behind the bar, and the seating space was mildly packed with people within a comfortable level of noise. Place was clean other than the one bathroom I used.“
