Everyone was so nice and the food was delicious. Quaint environment with great food makes for a fun evening experimenting with new cuisines. “Really cute, clean and nicely decorated little spot. Has two diff sides. One is cafe, one is take out. Lots of pies and baked goods. I ordered the breakfast sandwich but subbed for vegan sausage. It was good but very sloppy/messy. The banana French toast was the real winner. Very tasty. Staff was really polite and friendly. We also got 2 slices of pie and a scone to go. The pecan was def the star. Very sweet and rich. Then the blueberry/apple crumb was also very decadent. And the butterscotch scone was also tasty. Can't wait to dunk it in my coffee this am!“

“Delicious gluten free food! We live in Philly so have been hearing about Jay’s for a while, but it’s an hour from where we live so never made it. We finally drove out in that direction to pick pumpkins a few weeks ago and oh my gosh, Jay’s is so good! I don’t have celiac but my wife does, and it was so so great for her to be able to have the food she had been missing. She asked if we could go back the next weekend. :) thank you thank you for all your hard work.“

“Thoroughly enjoyed our meal tonight. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the entryway and reception area were, then to the table set with double tablecloths, cloth napkins and pretty silverware. Art on the walls, lovely plants all around,and classical piano music playing told us this was not your average chinese restaurant. Our server was friendly and attentive despite being busy. I had shrimp wonton soup which was three tender shrimp wontons in a flavorful broth. Then for an entree I had singapore noodles with an upgrade to jumbo shrimp. Very good! My companion had an egg roll which he said was better than most, not greasy, and tasty. He followed that with chicken with vegetables in garlic sauce, he enjoyed the dish very much.Very fresh and flavorful. we will definitely be back again to try more dishes!“

“The food was very good, but there was the issue of being sat next to a table full of small children that were screaming out most of the time so it was pretty loud. We probably should have asked to change seats. Also, when I asked the waiter if they were any combination meals on the menu, he said no. When the salad I ordered was not as big as he described, I was still hungry so I asked for some chili. He brings out the chili and, guess what? It came with a salad! Combo meal. It's a shame. He didn't know that because it would've saved me money.“

“My wife is obsessed with cafes/ bakeries, especially if there's a French twist to them. This place is charming and enchanting. It has plenty of seating and a cozy couch, along with free wifi making it a great place to work. The food options are endless. It took me 10 minutes to decide what I wanted because too many things looked amazing! The owner is a wonderfully kind woman, she was patient with me and answered all my questions and gave me some recommendations on the best sellers. The spinach and feta croissant is to die for. It is a must try in my opinion. It was flaky, warm, buttery, with the perfect amount of salt. I'm usually a person that like hot sauce on everything. But this pastry was perfect just as it was. I also got the French beignets, chocolate and raspberry. If you come here, ask for everything to be warmed up, and sit and enjoy the meal you just got. I can't wait to bring my wife back and try that they have in their lunch menu along with the pastries they have.“

“Being a transplant from northern Jersey I have been hunting for 17 years for a great Brooklyn pie in the area. I've finally found it! Then there's the polenta, omg! You don't see that on many menus so I had to get it. It is simply outstanding!“
