“It’s probably been twenty years since I have stepped foot in this restaurant, thought we’d give it a whirl for takeout. I wish I had time to sit; this would be the perfect kind of diner place to write, or do some paperwork. Plenty of tables, and you could be left alone with your coffee or tea if you chose-but, I don’t have the time for that- I’ll put that on the bucket list. In the meantime, the order was nicely taken over the phone and ready when I got there. I was picking up for some else-order chicken tenders and fries - metered parking right out on the street and a lot literally across the street. Plenty of seating available, nice solid diner type menu chicken tender basket included 3 tenders.“

“We loved the food, atmosphere, and even the service was good. What threw me off was when the waiter didn't bring the change back from the $200 in cash we gave him. I had tipped him $40 already. Our bill was around $140. So we sat and waited another 15 minutes for him to bring the cash. When I approached him near the kitchen entrance and asked about our change $60, he said he meant to bring it. If we had left, that would have been $100 tip. Everything else there was great. Food was awesome. The money thing didn't sit right with me though.“
“4.5 stars overall. Ribbins BBQ offers a roadside stand, food truck, and catering. At the Pittsburgh Rib Fest, I bought a sampler of three of their ribs. The employee spoke nicely to me. She asked me if I wanted any sauce, and she put on the amount that I had requested. Then she kindly thanked me.At this Rib Fest, I ate ribs from three other vendors, and I think that Ribbins BBQ had the best-tasting ribs. These ribs were the smallest size and had the least amount of meat, but my husband and I really enjoyed the smokey flavor of the meat and the sweet sauce. I did not buy any other foods from this business, but their website mentions pulled pork, beef brisket, BBQ chicken, loaded fries, baked beans, coleslaw, macaroni and cheese, and collard greens. Their website also mentions that they offer catering within a 20-mile radius of their business. The foods include those previously mentioned plus ham, turkey, sausage, hotdogs, burgers, potato salad, corn, baked potato, pasta salad, applesauce, salads, beans and rice, green beans, rice, cornbread, etcetera.“

“We had a large group(8) and even though we called ahead we still waited an hour to get seated and when we were seated, 2 of our group were in chairs for high top tables at a regular height table which made eating awkward, James was a great server though“

“T.J. catered food for us for a retirement luncheon, and everything was excellent - from the pulled pork to the BBQ chicken to the brisket, corn bread, beans, and cole slaw. We had more than enough food for the 35 people that attended, and plenty of leftovers! T.J. was great to work with, very professional and friendly. We would definitely use him again!“

“Great foodVery friendly serviceWe got potstickers for an appetizer which were fantastic. We got Korean taco, chief special, beef ramen soup, and bibimbap. We all tasted each other's and all enjoyed each other's along with our own. Even my kids who were hesitant at first coming here ended up enjoying it a lot.“
