Our group of five thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Three of them ordered the Fish and two enjoyed the Caesar Salad. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We love the ambiance of the Altland house. The wine selection and cocktails are very good. Our server was very kind, knowledgeable and efficient. The wait time for food was not tong at all. Brussel sprout salad is one of my favorites!

being our first time and it was a special day I made a 1pm reservation several days ago and asked for two person window seat. I had to change reservation at noon on day of because of running late to 5pm. I called person said no problem changing he was nice and polite I got the confirmation on phone BUT upon arriving hostess said I did NOT Have reservations. Thank goodness they were not crowed and we got the 4 person table in the bay window area Stared off nervous but ended fine!!!!

It was a disappointing evening. Limited menu. BERY limited wine selection. One of our meals came out with a shred of wire (Brillo pad scrap?) in it. No suggestion of comping the meal, or even a free glass of wine. So we essentially ate two separate meals, so the first wouldn't go cold while we waited for the second.

We arrived and had reservations. The restaurant is nicely decorated and had a comfortable and upscale ambiance. Once we were seated we waited 10 minutes to even be acknowledged. Once we finally got to order we waited quite a while for our food. We had asked for an extra plate and it took and additional 10 minutes to get that.when the waitress would finally show up it was at least 15 minutes till we would see her again. Finally we were ready for coffee and had to ask her for dessert menus. She brought the coffee and the checks without ever asking if we wanted dessert. We finally gave up on dessert because we had to leave. Once again we had to wait for a long period just to have her pick up our checks and return our cards. Food was good, waitress was unprofessional. Disappointing visit.

I went to Altland House for a date night. I had passed by numerous times and finally decided to make plans to stop. The atmosphere was exactly what I hoped for. It was quite cozy. The food was excellent as was the service.

The Roman pizza was very good. Pan cooked snapper was also very good. The pasta and shrimp was just satisfactory. The service was excellent and, the ambiance was great.

We let them know it was our anniversary and they had the table set and ready for us when we arrived. The food was excellent, the service very good and the price reasonable.
This was our fourth anniversary meal out of 47! That should tell you how great this place is! Great food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere.

We enjoyed the special soup of ham and potatoes which was hearty and delicious. We also ordered the Roman styled wine lovers pizza, and this was quite a wonderful treat as it was a great medley of flavours with a perfect crust. Would absolutely get these again.

We enjoyed our Anniversary Dinner. Service was great. Food was delicious. The cheese on the eggplant Parmesan could have been melted a bit more. Our old fashioned were delicious. We were too full to even think about dessert. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The bacon and cheese strata and southern strata were awesome. There were 6 of us for Sunday brunch and the 2 that did not get the strata wish we would have. A little slow but we were not in a hurry. We will be back to try more brunch items and then move on to lunch and dinner.

However yesterday, we made reservations to celebrate our Anniversary (this was mentioned in our reservation) and we were disappointed that there was no acknowledgement of any kind. Yet, another table celebrated a birthday and the staff was attentive. We also had the same server as before. She was inattentive and rushed. I will find another place for celebrations. Disappointed.
