Our reservation time was not honored. We arrived early and were told our table would be ready at our appointed time . it was not. We were offered a table in the bar area to wait. approximately 30 minutes before our dinner table was ready. Our filet mignon arrived, medium rare, and not medium as requested , mashed potatoes were barely warm, Service was fair. Would not recommend

Dinner was enjoyable and delicious. The bread plate is an exceptional starter that is brought out immediately with a garlic butter spread, roasted garlic cloves, an olive oil and balsamic drizzle and lastly Parmesan and olive oil as a dip. The White Elderflower Cosmo was delicious as was the Blackberry Lemonade. I had the Special Blackened Mahi Mahi with cheesy Grits which a different go with. The Mahi may have been a tad overdone for me. The middle fat part was perfect. The ends a bit dry. The Eggplant Parmesan was very good. The crock of baked onion soup was yummy as well. We had a lovely waitress as well.

Delicious cocktails to start. Caesar salad would have benefitted from additional zest-anchovies, lemon juice, etc. It was Prime Rib Friday and the Queen cut was ample, very flavorful, and prepared exactly to my liking. Other guests ordered Red Snapper. They were not as pleased, but mainly due to being unable to remove the skin from the fish. Menu indicated skin on, but they hoped they could successfully remove it. No such luck. Homemade Blueberry Pie was the perfect finishing touch as were the chocolate martinis.

We have passed by many times over the years and finally decided to make a reservation and come in, and we are glad we did. The staff were very welcoming, there were lots of different drinks to select from and the food was excellent. Not to mention it was all very reasonably prices. Will be back again!

We met up with good friends we hadn't seen in a long time. We were able to stay for a good long while to catch up.

Three of us college friends met for the first time since covid. Lunch was great. The fact that we were allowed a lot of time to catch up. Thank you. We drove 1 and 2 hours to meet up. We will definitely do it again

Food great. Service ...meh. waitress nonexistent and didnt refill husband's drink. Took plates off table never asking if we were finished. I certainly hope the tips are shared. She didn't deserve what I left. I didn't want to screw other people if tips were shared. Disappointed to not see irish pub fries so close to st Patrick's day.

Simply the best! Highly recommended!!

The service was excellent. The food was also quite good. Our only complaint was that the knives provided to cut our steak were perhaps the dullest steak knives ever seen. It was a battle, but we managed to prevail and cut through. The Valentine special dessert was very good. It had gelato, a special cake, and chocolate strawberries.

We had a reservation at 6 and was seated very close to 6. The food was delicious and the service outstanding!

The crabcake and chicken and waffles were very good. The sweet potato fries were perfect. The drinks were a bit overpriced. Biggest complaint was the dining room was cool.

Went here for our anniversary dinner tonight, service was good. We started with the pan seared scallops and cheesy grits, awful…scallops smelled so fishy, grits were dried out and lumpy and the roasted corn tasted rubbery. I got the eggplant parm which tasted old or frozen, some bites were hard other bits were just gross. It came with spinach and no pasta. Husband got the crab cake sandwich, he said it tasted like canned crab and bun was too big for the cake. Will not be returning. We were disappointed ☹️ for the prices we paid, we expected better.

We had the pleasure of working with The Altland House for our wedding, and I cannot recommend them enough! We worked directly with Cassandra, who was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. As someone who didn’t know much about weddings, Cassandra was so patient and made sure I never felt silly for asking questions. Her communication was excellent, and she thought of every little detail to make our day perfect. Our tasting was a wonderful experience—so welcoming and relaxed! We chose two main dishes for our wedding: turkey with stuffing and pretzel-crusted chicken, both served with baby carrots in a maple glaze and a twice-baked potato. The food was absolutely delicious, and our guests raved about it all night. Since we don’t live locally, some of our guests were staying at The Altland House the night before the wedding. Last minute, we had to make plans for dinner, and despite arriving later than expected, they were more than accommodating for our larger group. We never felt rushed, and the meal was fantastic! The atmosphere was also really cool—we wished we didn’t have so many guests who wanted to stay with us because we would have loved to use their rooms for ourselves! On the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly. The team was on time, incredibly friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. A special shout-out to the bartenders—they were so much fun and clearly loved what they were doing. Every time I looked over, they were having a blast, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how great the drinks and service were. Cassandra is amazing at her job, and we are forever grateful for everything she did to make our wedding day unforgettable. Even though we don’t live nearby, we’ll definitely be making trips up just to visit The Altland House because it’s that good. I highly recommend them for not only wedding services but also for a great meal anytime!
