The Altland House is my go to place when I'm visiting in the area. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the food is great, and the prices are quite reasonable. Lexie was the hostess during my most recent stay. She is a delightful young lady who seems to enjoy going out of her way to accommodate the Inn's guests. Truly a memorable experience.

Had heard what a great place this is to eat. My husband and I did not have a good meal. His salmon and my risotto were both flavorless. My vegetables were so under cooked I think all they did to them was run warm water over them. My crabcake was very undercooked. It was just not a good meal. Dessert was amazing though. I recommend their cheesecake with the cracker jack popcorn and peanut brittle.Food & drinks: The food lacked in flavor. And undercooking.

The Altland House was the perfect choice for a hotel for my bridal party to stay during the weekend of my wedding. Our rooms were great. My husband and I stayed in room 30 and it was HUGE. Everyone was kind and considerate in answering my million questions leading up to the weekend. They even helped us host a brunch after our wedding in one of their private event spaces. I highly recommend eating and/or staying the night here!

The first time I was here the food, service, and ambiance were perfect. The waitress was attentive and we got quick refills and the bread was kept stocked. This time, the service was lackluster. The noise level was so loud I couldn't hear the other person talking to me. The food was great but not sure if I came on an off night with the other things that happened.

Lovely dinner. Good service, though I think they were short a wait person for the number of tables booked. But it did not really slow us down at all. Only critical comment: the hose made French apple pie was a bit off. It was quite cooked through in my opinion. It was 95% there, so it was edible, and I ate it all...but it need a few more minutes in the oven to be something really special. Will return when the opportunity arise.

Had my husband's 80th birthday party in a private dining room in the restaurant. First class all the way! From the planning stages with Cassandra to the fabulous food and service the day of, everything was top notch. Highly recommend!!!

Altland house is a really good local spot with a menu that is well priced. Small restaurant but not crowded, with a decent selection at the bar. Sunday Brunch is always good. But most of all I love the French onion soup! lol I have not stayed here so no comment on the rooms. But the food is quite good!

We always have wonderful experiences at the Altland House, and last night was no exception. Our waiter Casey was fantastic, and so attentive to us. The food was great, and drinks were fresh! Our favourite go to.
