If you’re new to the Manayunk/Roxborough area, have lived here your whole life, or are just passing through the city you will not regret stepping foot in to CJ & Eck’s. Try one of the amazing food specials the chef prepares, ask for a Tootsie Bomb, and enjoy an ice cold draft beer! The staff is always welcoming, and the regulars will make it feel like home!“

“Very friendly staff with quick and attentive service. Relaxing atmosphere with live music out on the patio area. I wanted to try something new (for me) in the area and was pleasantly surprised. I decided to go out of my comfort zone and try something new to eat as well as I've never really had a taste for seafood. I ended up ordering the crispy calamari, the king crab, and some wings just in case I didn't like it. WOW! the calamari was very good and my mind was blown with the King crab. Their buttery sauce was a perfect pair with the crab. It was a great experience. 100% will return very soon for more!“

“I dined in with my family on May 31st and our server was Dana. She was great! She was respectful, funny, and sweet. She joked around with my 8 year old and sang happy birthday with us for my 13 year old. Dana told us Applebees doesnt sing happy birthday but she will do it and we really appreciated that! We had to return food and she handled it respectfully as well! Thank you Dana!“

“Best Brazilian Bar around, and definitely #1 in the Northeast. The owner, security DJ, and bartenders, especially Thamy, are awesome. It's always a great time! Excellent food, music, and drinks. Melhor bar Brasileiro ao redor, e definitivamente o número 1 do Nordeste. O proprietário, DJ de segurança e barmen, especialmente Thamy, são incríveis. É sempre um grande momento! “Hubby and I have gone here several times and each time it was great! The food is amazing and even when they're busy (like today: Valentine's day, some of their staff called out) we've only ever had to wait for the check which not a big deal. HIGHLY recommended!“

“Our favorite restaurant chain. So far we have dined in other cities where we awarded 5 stars to the dishes. In this restaurant a little less. The service was reasonable, not beyond that the atmosphere is good, the music and the acoustics are reasonable. Parking is convenient. The prices are absolutely reasonable.
Kid-friendliness: Yes, in my opinion, suitable for children.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, there is accessibility for the disabled.“
“I have been coming to Freddy & Tony's since i was born! As soon as you walk in they make you feel like your family. If you do not speak Spanish or know how to read Spanish that is not a problem here their menu is biligual, and so are the staff. This place is were I go to get a home style meal from the islands. My favorite is their sweet plantain, stewed chicken, arroz con gandules, and salad(***put oil and vinegar on it not salad dressing it cuts the fat from the food you're eating to refresh you pallet). They have tons of options to choose from too, just know that if you going here on a Saturday or Sunday be ready for a crowd because this is THE best place to go for Puerto Rican food in Philly!“
“We had our wedding here on 9/28/19 and it was AMAZING. The price was reasonable, the setting was intimate & cozy and the staff was lovely. My family can’t stop talking about how lovely it was! The outdoor seating area was perfect for smokers and non-smokers alike. The grounds were beautiful for pictures. Last but not least, the food was delish (especially the salmon) and the options at the bar ROCKED. It was, all in all, incredible!“

“A home away from home for Commanders fans living in Philadelphia. Old Bay is featured heavily on the menu, as it should be. They easily accommodated our walk in party of 14 and put up with us playing "Hail To The Redskins" on the jukebox repeatedly.
*To the couple Commanders fans who left negative reviews, that's not cool and you're missing the joke.*“
