“Fue algo muy apreciante tanto como el servicio y la comida 👍“
“I would like to start by saying that I’m not Dominican and I bumped into this place by accident and decided to try the Yaroas. I’m very familiar with Allentown and didn’t even know this place opened almost a year ago. Per Google, Yaroa is a Dominican street food of leyered fries, meat, and cheese, often topped with condiments. They don’t just sell Yaroas, their menu has a variety of items that is very appetizing. I tried the Yaroa-Tripleta. I believe it comes with chicken, beef, and shrimp over a layer of mashed sweet plantain or French fries. I asked to get half sweet plantain and half fries. It was DELICIOUS 🤤. The small size could feed two, but it was so good that I ate it all. I liked it better with the sweet plantain, but with French fries was very good also. I’m going there again because I want to try everything else out n the menu. The owners are very nice and welcoming people. I RECOMMEND IT.“
“I love eating here!food is deliciousAna is so lovely, comforting, welcoming, she makes you feel at home. Prices are affordable, low ,and regular.
She has different varieties and options each day of what she puts out to serve. My favorite thing about coming here is Anas service ,& not having to stress about cooking to have a lunch for work. Her food saves me lots of time and energy to make sure I have a good lunch for work! I love the empanadas, handmade juices ,her soup, her chicharron, and the salmon ,and mangu😍 I also love walking by the huge mirrored wall in the dining area.😍🥰the dining area is so beautiful, clean, spacious, bright lighting, big mirrored wall, big windows.
Ana does very well with sanitation and keeping her restaurant clean❣️“

“The food is GREAT. We keep going back. We’ve probably eaten take out from here more than anywhere else in the last year or two.Service dog friendly. They asked the first time and left us alone about it since. 10/10, love being treated like just another patron.
Parking: It’s 7th street a block or two before the PPL center. Good luck with street parking. It’s either easy to snag a spot or really really hard. There’s North Lot a little down the block on the right, which is also paid.“
“This is hidden gem. I was driving by when I saw the name of the restaurant and turned around. A chimi is a type of sandwich from the Dominican Republic that not everyone knows how to make it right. I ordered the beef chimi and a avocado salad. The flavors were delicious and authentic. The service was outstanding, really warming people with a genuine smile and the desire to show you how they prepared everything from scratch and not cutting corners. They want me to try their version of their carrot cake, I don't care for sweets, but OMG this was spectacular. I will come back tomorrow Sunday because they will have cow feet soup, which is a staple for the Dominicans when the weather is cold. This is a small humble place with big heart, bould flavors and a genuine desire to serve you.“

“Went here with a couple friends after hearing good things, and overall it was a solid experience. The food felt very home-style and comforting, especially the rice and beans which were seasoned really well. Portions were decent for the price, so you don’t leave hungry. The staff was friendly enough and checked in without being over the top. It did get a little busy, so the wait was slightly longer than expected, but nothing too crazy. Music and vibe made the place feel lively and authentic. Not everything blew me away, but nothing disappointed either.“

“Fantastic food. We had the roast chicken, which was good. If they was all we had, I would have come back.
But we also ordered the sancocho (de gallina), a house speciality. I had no idea what I was buying, and was floored. It was amazing.
We left stuffed.
Just as we were leaving, they brought out pernil, which we were too full to taste. Next time!“

“After having Chinese food and pizza so much, I needed a change, and nothing speaks to my soul better than Spanish food. I brought my friend along, and even though he went with a more American dish, we enjoyed an impromptu dinner. And of course, I must comment on the homey atmosphere that relaxes you the second you sit down. I'd definitely come back again!“

“Well I love the food they prepare! But, my favorites are: the power lines (Dominican spaghettis), the bean moros and the chicken chips! Also the humane treatment of Arely's and Kennya, those two ladies are excellent human beings, I thank them for that humane treatment. God bless you greatly“

“One of my favorite Spanish places in the LV. Tastes like my mom's cooking and is close to home so it's perfect for a lazy day that I don't feel like cooking. Their portions are extremely generous. Catering prices are great for the portions too.“
