“Big upgrade at this restaurant ... bigger menu, better atmosphere ... service is still a so and so , depending on the day lol.. but overall, great experience..great Spanish food ... between this restaurant, Latin America and La cocina, there is no competition . Every other place is awful or overrated“

“At El Conuco Restaurante you’ll get friendly service, unbelievably reasonable prices, huge portions, and delicious food. It’s a combination that can’t be beat. I really enjoyed my visit and the arroz con pernil was fabulous and you when they ask if you want crispy skin included the answer should always be yes. Great meal and a wonderful price.“

“Recently tried this place and the food is delicious. I did a make your own bowl and the broccoli was crunchy and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I wasn’t a fan of dumplings wish they were chicken but weren’t bad . Definitely recommend“

“I chose to celebrate my birthday with brunch at Mamajuana based off of the social media posts I noticed on IG. Needless to say, it did not disappoint. My birthday brunch experience was amazing. The ambiance and energy were perfect. This is the exact vibe I was going for to celebrate my birthday. The service was great and I tried something different in terms of food which was also tasty. I highly recommend based off of my experience and would definitely return again. Shout out to Judy my hostess/server who was very attentive!“

“My family and I stopped in one day as we were in the neighborhood. It appeared as if they were about to close but still let us come in to order. They also let us in with our pup. Exceptional customer service from start to finish. The food was great and I have been ordering from them ever since. My favorites are the pollo guisado y arroz con gandules and salad. The grilled tilapia platter is also good and well seasoned. The passion fruit drink although pricey, is the best I’ve ever had hands down. You must try them out!“

“Everything was excellent from the moment we walked in the door. The waitress was super friendly and informative. The empanadas were the best I've ever had. Plenty of parking either on the street or the lot in the back. If you are looking for something different I highly recommend Cafe Notice !“

“My favorite Authentic Dominican Food Resturant in the City! It’s like visiting your aunts house during the holidays. Most of the patrons are regulars so we bump into each other often. The food is authentic, flavorful, and great portions. The staff (front and back) are attentive and welcoming. The atmosphere is clean and cultural. The only BUMMER is that they close earlier since the pandemic, so get there before 4 pm for an awesome time!“

“Parada Maimon is authentic Restaurante Dominicano 🇩🇴. It has an island vibe - Quisqueya La Bella - serves delicious comida Dominicana, and tremendous service. The owner is actively involved and has very good people skills. He knows keenly when customers want to talk and be entertained with conversation and stories about DR, and he also knows when customers want to be left alone to eat.
My wife and I have been going to Parada Maimon for close to a decade. The food is always fresh and the service is consistently attentive. Prices have increased over the years, however, which is why I'm not rating it 5 Stars.
Hoy ordenamos 2 platos:
- Arroz con habichuelas 🍚 🫘, platanos maduros, y pollo guisado 🐔
- Arroz con guandules, carne de res 🐄, y 2 pastelitos de pollo 🐔

“If you're looking for a local business with affordable pricing, friendly Spanish speaking staff, delicious and satisfying meals, all in a nice setting then this is your spot!
The staff was really welcoming and friendly, taking the time to explain the menu options and pricing.
I ordered the stewed chicken ("Pollo al Orno" or "a la Olla") with white rice, yucca, and avichuelas (pinto beans). The chicken was packed with flavor. The beans were stewed until the broth was rich and savory (honestly my fave part so good). This came with a refreshing salad with purple cabbage and fresh lettuces. (it was colorful and crisp). To top it all off it was suuuuuper reasonably priced. $11 for a delicious and satisfying meal.
Vivaldi Restaurant has a sleek and modern aesthetic, but still comfortable. Everything was clean and well maintained so that always makes eating enjoyable and relaxing.
Wheelchair accessibility: The floor is smooth, clean, level, and flat.“

“This is my go-to spot on a weeknight when I'm hungry, and want something delicious, fulfilling and cheap. Paying $10 for a huge chicken and rice platter full of sauce and flavor, beans and a side salad is a win-win on any day! They don't really speak English and I don't care! She knows me, I get my food and go home happy. You can dine in, but I wouldn't recommend it. lol Just get your food and leave. Don't go there expecting warm hugs and kisses and extravagant furnishings. The food is good and cheap. The end.“

“Alright, it's been a while since I wrote a review but I HAD TO come on here for Kocinao! I've been looking for a good Dominican spot in Philly and I've tried a few and hadn't gotten around to Kocinao until today when I happened to be nearby and starving and craving some Mangu. First off, customer service is stellar as expected in a Dominican joint, my people are always so warm and inviting. The chick attending me was super patient as we were having difficulties with splitting payment. I got my tres golpes a mi gusto 'cause I don't eat salami. She offered me extra pieces of cheese in its stead and then another piece because she only had one egg at the moment. Loved it. The portions are also exactly what I expect from a Dominican restaurant. I went with the smaller size just because I wasn't sure how it would turn out but the small was pretty big and I'm glad it was. The mangu is perfection! So soft, flavored right, not dry at all! The onions are nice and juicy, too, because I didn't even know having dry onions was something I needed to be weary of until I ordered from a different restaurant in Philly. I also had a mamey batida and bay-bee! It was fricking delicious. I'd just like a larger size to enjoy it longer because I definitely gulped it down. I'm originally from NYC so mangus and mameys you can get anywhere and good ones, too. To go from readily available to having to shop around to see from where you can get the goodies is rough y'all, but I think you'll make it a lot easier on yourself if you just make your way to Kocinao first. The ambience is immaculate even in the middle of the day. They've done a dope job with the decor and set up. I can't wait to do a little date night here with the hubby as soon as we get an opportunity.“

“Where in the world do you go into a restaurant that has animals in there! There’s cats in there which climb all over the tables where customers eat! The restaurant needs to get remolded and get a deep clean! Also in the basement where they keep the food stored have rats, DISGUSTING!!!???“

“This is our favorite location. Almost every Sunday on the way home from church we stop at this location. Everyone is nice and sometimes I feel sorry for the girls that work in the kitchen in the summer time, because it's probably about 150 degrees in there, but they do what they gotta do.“

“If you’re looking for amazing authentic Puerto Rican food, Freddy’s is the place to get it. While I have been to a few other spots, Freddy’s has the taste of Puerto Rico in every dish I’ve tried. The mofongo, arroz con pollo and lechon asado and you can not leave without a mango smoothie! A must have if you want to know what it tastes like if you could stick a straw directly into a mango and drink from it. The only con I’d mention is the location and parking is limited in the parking lot. Although there is side street parking if necessary“
