“I had the pleasure of visiting the Latin American Restaurant in Camden, New Jersey. The atmosphere was great; the staff was friendly, and the food was amazing. The Yellow Rice and Beans with Pernil (Roast Pork) was my favorite dish. The flavors were bold and the dish was cooked to perfection. The portion size was generous and the price was reasonable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good Latin American meal.“
“The food is always prepared the way I like at Camden Breakfast. I ate there often before the coronavirus pandemic especially when I lived in the neighborhood. The coffee was good also. There were always a lot of people getting served and waiting for takeout. Now I get my orders delivered. They arrive in a timely manner.Wheelchair accessibility: I have entered the store with a walker. A bit tight as there are two doors at the entrance. Not sure if another door can be used by a wheelchair patron.“
“Pro: There are only but a handful of places in the area where one can find conch in New Jersey. (And if there are an abundance of them, let me know!) However, an unplanned visit to J & H proved to be fruitful. As a born Caribbean native who eats his way through his bouts of homesickness, it was a complete joy to find conch here! But let me not sell this establishment as a "one-trick pony"...J & H is a great little stop for crabs, Caribbean fare, and possibly a few little surprises you weren't counting on! Con: Meager parking in an underdeveloped neighborhood...every rose has its thorn, I suppose... Bottom Line: I was pleasantly surprised. You might be too if you try!“
“Came here with a good friend for some good food, good vibes, good drinks, and all over good times! All boxes were checked! I was really impressed with the food. We got the bang bang shrimp, and it was banging (teehee)! The outdoor area is a hidden oasis! I will DEF be back!“
“Camden city's best kept secret and it shouldn't be, I would've given it 5 stars but that rating remains with my always number #1 restaurant Sisters Spot.. however this is the only other restaurant in my opinion that has really delicious food as well. With Sisters spot you can taste the love and with Stevens you can taste the passion. Either way you can't go wrong..“
“Got to chat it up with Jordan at @jordanjohnsonseafood while I waited for his food. Good seeing you, man... stay blessed! Got some of this honey buffalo jumbo shrimp, salmon fried rice, and creamy curry tilapia on white rice. Posting this after I ate some... seafood perfection!“
“Every dish was incredible. Just what we were looking for. My husband had the oysters and the scallops, I had the ceviche and sea bass. All fantastic. Impeccable service. Fun to eat at the open kitchen counter and watch the cools do their thing. I'd visit again.“
“Vegetarian options: Very few vegetarian dishes, but I knew that going in. It's a Southern inspired restaurant with a heavy focus on meat and seafood dishes - ribs, chicken, short rib, crawfish, shrimp, etc. I made it work and was not the least bit disappointed. The service was excellent and the drinks were delicious. The blue cheese stuffed olives in the martini were incredible.“
“The Oyster House in Philadelphia offers an exceptional dining experience that exceeds expectations. From start to finish, every dish was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious, leaving no room for disappointment. The attentive and knowledgeable service added to the overall enjoyment, with staff providing superb explanations of menu items. Without a doubt, it's been a long time since I've had such a perfect meal. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience in Philly.“
“I eat their food several times a month and I am never disappointed. My favorite, their yams are fresh and always delicious. They have Wednesday shrimp special. Today I am raving about the cabbage. Most of all, hats off to the staff, especially Marsha and Rhonda... wonderful, wonderful, and of course, Brian! You cannot go wrong patronizing this business!!!“
