“heyyy I ordered shrimp and ribeye yak yesterday. I had it picked up, so I can't speak on the dine-in experience. here's my review:

- it tasted really good!
- the price was a lil steep but I figured for the halal ribeye + shrimp, it gotta be worth it

- so unfortunately there was not much steak in my dish. like I had to go hunting through my noodles to find it, and the small pieces I actually got to taste..... had a gamey flavor like it could've actually been lamb?? just pointing that out for the chef to be more aware in the future
- I would've appreciated more shrimp too, just considering the price

oh yea I also ordered fried chicken + mac & yams. my kids loved it! i will say, i do think 8 wingdings instead of 6 would be more fair.

so on the bright side, my food was good & it was ready for pickup really quick! thank you for making my evening easier!“

“I had my 40th birthday party here and I had to make sure to leave this fantastic review. From the time I booked until the day of my party, excellent communication and customer service. If I had any questions they always responded. After down deposit they offer payment plan option to make sure event is paid prior to event date. Everything is noted in the signed contract. The event staff and the bartender were amazing and everyone was complimenting how good and nice they were. I didn’t get to catch their names although it was told but I forgot but just know I appreciate y’all and the space was beautiful. Definitely will be having more events here in the future. Great first time experience and to all the staff BIG THANKS to you. Went above and beyond. Hope to see y’all again. 😊“

“I had snapper soup there. It was an 11 out of a possible 10. My wife had New England clam chowder it is (her score system) a 10 out of 10. Best ever. Unfortunately, they do not currently have snapper soup. Missing the old Bookbinder too. Signed, Old Philadelphia natives.“

“Our first experience at a James Beard award winning restaurant (2017) and chef was incredible at Vernick Fish in Philadelphia to celebrate Trent’s graduation! I know now what this caliber of food and service means and all other restaurants pale in comparison to Vernick Fish and Greg Vernick(semi-finalist chef 2025). From the appetizers (dozen oysters from RI, MA, ME, PEI) to the drinks and main course were all uniquely exquisite and cannot be replicated anywhere else. The constant doting with new silverware at each course and cleaning of the table was undeniably royalty treatment. Even the bathroom was an experience-I need the hand lotion in my life (instantly made my hands look 30 years younger). The portions, ambiance and service were all equally perfect! I highly recommend you check out Vernick Fish. We will definitely return!“

“Finally, my husband was able to get a reservation at SAO! It’s honestly crazy how fast spots disappear, gone within seconds.

We’ve been fans since their time at Mawn, so we had high expectations for this new spot, and it did not disappoint. As someone who is Cambodian and grew up in Cambodia for half my life, I can confidently say Chef Phila and his team really delivered.

Everything we ordered was delicious, but the spicy crab gravy noodles were our favorite, packed with bold flavor and real crab meat. A must-order! Every dish was cooked perfectly, and I loved how rich and flavorful everything was.

The space is a bit small, though. I’d love to see them expand so more people can experience Cambodian cuisine.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Overall, it definitely lives up to the hype. Highly recommend if you want to try Cambodian food. This place truly hits the spot!“

I went for restaurant week and ordered the shrimp creole. Omg I cleaned my plate and was still salivating over the idea of more when I got home. My partner ordered the crab soup and the salmon. Eyes rolled in the back of his head y’all. Everything was so well and for my first time they left a lasting impression. Would definitely dine here again. “Ms. Crab is a hidden gem in Sharon Hill! The food was amazing, super fresh and flavorful. The staff were really friendly and the service was great. The space is small, but it’s been thoughtfully decorated warm lighting, comfortable seating, and nice touches around the dining area give it a cozy yet stylish vibe. You can tell they’ve put care into making the place inviting.“

“Hello, I wasn’t sure because of the name but I’m glad I stopped. I had the Hibachi mix vegetable w chucks of chicken and nice size shrimp and fried rice, everything was deliciously fresh my rice was not sticky, and it came with a side salad, Thumps Up to #DrunkeCrab!! top off w a breath mint.“

“Holy moly, this is a true hidden gem. The food was outstanding. A great menu and even better execution. I didn’t take pictures of everything but they wouldn’t do the food justice anyway. The pork chop was one of the best I’ve ever had. If you like pork chops like me you know that a juicy, tender, flavorful pork chop is the holy grail and this chef pulled it off. Everything we had was excellent. I’ll admit, I don’t like pumpkin but I tried my wife’s pumpkin risotto and I may be a convert. It’s amazing what a perfectly cooked pumpkin risotto can do. I can’t wait to come back to Philly and eat here again.

Drinks were also great and the bartender was a seasoned pro. Service all around was easy going and servers were just really nice people.

“Do not judge the elevator entrance, this restaurant is my favorite hidden in the open gem. Their broth is deep with flavor and aroma. Lots of options to add into your HotPot. Big tables, lovely atmosphere, a never miss when we visit Philly.“

“I came here to eat with my girlfriend, and we also ordered takeout a different day. We both agreed this is the best sushi we had so far here in the city. Lived here for 5 years, and the sushi and sashimi here are great and taste fresh. The takoyaki unfortunately was very cold when we got it, but I understand it's takeout and would be better in the restaurant. Definitely give this place a try.“

“Delicious Indian cuisine. I’ve been struggling to find a good Indian restaurant since I moved to the Philly area about 6 months ago, and I mean really struggling. Out of all of the places I’ve tried, Srinagar takes the cake!!! The Chicken Tikka Masala is incredible and is the perfect spice level for a medium. I did only get delivery via a third party service, but would certainly consider eating in next time. Will be eating here again!!!“

“Wick's is awesome! Their staff is always super friendly! I always bring coolers of food from Wicks with me to the Outer Banks when I vacation there for a week in a house rental. Wick's has almost every product available; from burgers, hot dogs, french fries, onion rings, chicken fingers (homemade right there on site), all things seafood, chicken patties, roast beef and gravy and mac and cheese right in the aluminum pans to cook them in, vegetables, almost everything imaginable.
