Sid bookers shrimp is and has always been the place to go for fried shrimp in Philly!! I've probably be going for about 30 years and they've been very consistent on the quality and taste.
It's a part of North Philly history right.... The corner is LITERALLY named Sid Bookers Way... The shrimp are mid. Not well seasoned and heavily breaded. It's not terrible but Yolo Cafe has way better quality and flavor...

It seems it gets better every time I try the shrimp. Customer service definitely improved. I always enjoy never had a bad taste experience with my shrimp. I have appreciation for the chips now….give you something to enjoy afterwards.
