I ordered the "roasted flounder" stuffed with crab meat on a bed of spinach and a seafood bisque. The bisque is always spot-on but the flounder was cool on the inside and there was no real flavor to the dish.
GALLO'S has some of the finest seafood in all of northeast Philadelphia. A nice bar setting sets off the main dining area. My wife & I moved & we hadn't been to GALLO'S in 5 years. It was our " go to Friday in Lent " restaurant. When we finally had the opportunity to go back we were not at all surprised that the quality, friendliness, diverse menu & specials HAD NOT CHANGED ONE BIT !!! Gallo's restaurant is top-notch. Food, service, and atmosphere are the best. Harv's burger bar has the most delicious selection of burgers around. Bartenders and servers can't do enough for you.
