Sophistiqué - French Bakery

Sophie is extremely kind, sporting great demeanour. She made two pies and some brownies. All of 'em tasted tops. Lot more yummy looking stuff that we saw in the patisserie.

As soon as I walked in the smell was incredible. Bought both baguettes n they were so delicious I also bought the pistachio berry croissant, I took a bite n OMG I was in heaven 🤤 everything was fireeee 🔥🔥

When you step into Sophistiqué, you’re hit with the aroma of freshly-baked pastries. The patisserie is clean, organized and stocked with a variety of perfectly-made pastries. We bought at least 12 things for my family to sample and share, ranging from $1.50-$8 each. Everything tasted authentic and made with love. The best part is that the owner, Sophie, is so humble, sweet, and patient. We will definitely be back! Wishing Sophie all the best. So glad she is here in the Lehigh Valley!

Yesterday we finally were able to try this bakery. The welcoming front and interior reminded me of European small town bakeries. The 2 ladies inside were super friendly! We bought one of almost everything (that was left!), and everything so far has been perfection! From the layers upon layers of flaky and savory pastry to the buttery and subtle sweet flavors, this chef is truly making perfection. Thank you for your wonderful commitment to the art, and we will definitely be back!

Walking into this bakery feels like being transported straight to Europe. Everything is fresh, beautiful, and absolutely delicious. The almond croissants are on another level—perfectly crisp, buttery, and filled with just the right amount of sweetness. The Everything Baguette is truly beyond delicious, and honestly, every single bite I’ve had here has been perfection.

I keep telling myself I’ll try something new, but I can never resist the pain au chocolat or almond croissants—they’re that good. On top of it all, Chef Sophie is incredibly kind, and every interaction with her makes the experience even more special.

This is hands down one of the best bakeries around, and I couldn’t recommend it more!

Everything is delicious. I have had to learn to restrain myself when I go for my weekly treat so that I don't leave with everything in the case. Make sure you get the kouign amann it will change your life!

This place is DELICIOUS!! Highly recommend. The only thing is I wish they had some seating indoors/ outdoors.

Not a place to sit down. Only grab and go and walk around downtown Allentown. Which is great!
Their pastries are amazing. You feel like you’re at a pastry shop in France. Love it.
