We were actually parking in town to go to a different restaurant but saw this place and decided to give it a try. I'm SO glad we did!! Everyone there was really friendly, and the food was so fresh and delicious! We ordered a few different things to try, and we were not disappointed. The chef recommended the Szechwan dumplings- the sauce was not spicy but "warm" and so very flavorful! Delicious! I can't wait to try more the next time we go.

Ume Asian Cuisine is a spacious and welcoming restaurant located on Hamilton Street in downtown Allentown. The restaurant offers some of the best Asian cuisine in the area, with friendly customer service. The menu features a variety of dishes, including *LUNCH SPECIALS*, *BUBBLE TEA*, and *ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES*, with good cocktails. Popular choices include the Sesame Chicken served with brown rice and broccoli, and sushi rolls. The restaurant is bright and clean, and the wait staff is attentive and helpful. The ambience is wonderful, and the environment is very clean. They offer free dessert on the house too. The staff are SUPER friendly and most of them even speak Spanish. Service was very attentive and prompt. Food was great, fast and hot. They took an order just a few minutes before closing, which was real nice. The sezchuan dumplings and their sushi are favorites. Parking is available behind the building.
