This particular Starbucks is hit-or-miss when it comes to customer service. While I do not frequent it daily. I'm here at least two times a week, and I hardly ever get an acknowledgment when entering or leaving. I understand that they are generally swamped in the drive-thru. But it only takes a moment to recognize a customer.I will say, though, the one standout is Sarah. She's always so pleasant and always remembers my name; it really means a lot to someone who's been in customer service for years.

I just want to say how grateful I am to the customer service Altoona Plank Rd., Starbucks. I had gone to another Starbucks this morning, who messed up my order and refused to fix their error. And I walked into Altoona to ask what their policy was on fixing orders, and another Starbucks messed up. The cashier was so polite and kind and said we’ll fix it right up for you just show me the receipt in the drinks which I had with me and presented. And they fixed it right up and this truly just shows how well they are trained and customer service and I go to the Starbucks all the time and they’re just absolutely the best!

I watched the dirty pitchers for making drinks used over and over. The counter was filthy where the drinks were set for pickup.coffee was old and cold . The worsed cup of coffee I ever had.

Basic Starbucks, staff is friendly depending on whose working. Most are extremely polite but beware of the few who need a new job. Coffee tastes great though and always presentable!

I understand the frenzied morning of a Friday. I do NOT understand filthy countertops where you are prepping food and drinks, putting completed orders in a puddle of sticky spilled coffee none of the EIGHT employees that did it could seem to see. (Magic invisible coffee spill??). Zero. Attendance to the visibly dirty cafe area. Zero assistance to a slightly disabled elderly gentleman and clueless, rude employees. It always helps to murmur the order names into the din of musak. Everyone had to check and recheck orders that were plopped on the counter. I’d prefer zero stars but as with most things, NOT returning is the best feedback. For the drive thru patrons— please remain oblivious and don’t go inside. I wonder what your ServeSafe training would have to say about all this?

I'm used to Starbucks around the world going above and beyond, however this store might need a refresher on customer service, especially during busier times. It's stressful during those busier times, but one of the reasons people are willing to pay $5 for a cup of coffee is because of Starbucks customer service.I was in yesterday and another customer asked if one of the good items the batista was holding was hers, and she responded, "Maybe. I don't know." Today I asked if my flat white could be topped off with some hot milk because the foam was a third of the cup, and she said, "No... not with hot milk. Our machine foams milk so there's space at the top." A flat white is frothy milk, not foamed. The main issue is I paid for a tall and got a short size amount. She could have easily added some hot milk. This is the first negative Starbucks review I've left.

Today I ordered a Green Tea Frappuccino and White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino at 2:14. The green tea tastes as good as before, but the white chocolate doesn't taste as delicious as before. It's less sweet. I don't know if you reduce the amount of syrup, it makes the taste different.

I love Starbucks however lately at this location you definitely need to check your drinks before leaving or pulling away from the drive thru. I've had several simple coffee & creams that were missing the sweeteners or missing the cream/milk. They are usually on point and maybe had changes in staffing to be fair.

This location gets pretty busy on the weekends. When I went on a Saturday it took a pretty long time to receive the drinks I ordered but you could tell the employees were working as quickly as they could. There were several impatient customers who complained about the wait but I was impressed with how well the employees handled this situation.
