Tried this place and Indian cuisine out as a whole today for the first time and could not be more happy with my experience. I remember seeing this restaurant be set up and being excited hoping to finally get a place for reliable vegetarian dishes and I was right, they have a good number of vegetarian options. I got delivered the Chana Masala, butter naan and some Tea. I loved every item. Good prices for good portions, I had a good sized lunch and will have a good sized lunch tomorrow from what all is left over. The tea was delicious, comforting on a colder night. The Chana masala was amazing, very flavorful and paired well with the perfectly cooked rice it came with. The butter naan was good as well and paired with everything else wonderfully. 10/10 would recommend; very glad I got to broaden my palette while supporting a local restaurant. As a delivery order it was also packaged well, my food arrived safe and hot.

We stopped in before the dinner rush on a late Monday afternoon and got 4 take-out entrees, which were prepared in about 10 minutes. This was the best Indian cuisine my family has had the pleasure to dine on in Pennsylvania. Very good!
Parking: The parking lot beside the restaurant is owned by a church and is posted.
Honestly...I can't believe this is in Altoona. The food here is AMAZING! If you're a fan of Indian food or want to try it, you will NOT regret going here. I've eaten Indian food all over the world and honestly....this is as good as ANYTHING I've ever eaten and I've eaten at some of the best Indian places on 4 different continents. I've never eaten in India but I can't imagine this place would shame anyone in India by serving this food.

We enjoyed the wonderful, authentic Indian cuisine today. We are new residents in this area, and we have been missing the readily available Indian food that we enjoyed in Denver.
We only heard about this restaurant yesterday - and my adult daughter begged us to meet her there for an early lunch. She loved the Butter Chicken, my wife enjoyed the Chicken Korma - but preferred the Butter Chicken. I enjoyed the chicken Tiki Marsala. We also shared an order of the Kashmiri Naan with cherries, almonds, and coconut - highly recommended!
Everything I have had has been absolutely delicious. Tonight we got the mixed grill with a mix of chicken sausage and shrimp…omg!!!! Soooo damn good! And the mango drink is to die for ?❤️❤️❤️

I read some of the other reviews and felt I must be somewhere else. I paid over 20 bucks for a small bowl of curry and a bowl of rice and a flat coke in a glass. I'm still hungry and the food wasn't impressive. Very

Order paneer burji with butter naan. The naans were perfectly made, super soft.
Very small seating area(4 booths) but the food is amazing ! I had Chicken Tikka marsala, it was delicious. Also the garlic & cheese naan is made for scratch. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and helpful with describing the menu. If you're looking for a large, fancy restaurant this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for delicious, authentic Indian cuisine ...this is definitely for you.

Discovered this place after wondering away from the usual Plank Rd stomping grounds in search of something different. Leagues above the last Indian restaurant I went to when I was visiting my sister. The chicken vindaloo was delicious, and the garlic cheese Naan was amazing. My cousin also loved his chicken curry. Definitely gonna come back!

We had an amazing experience dining here on our way to Niagara. Made a special stop on our way back to eat here again. The host Mir is very warm. The food was fresh and great tasting. One of the only Indian restaurants in the area. Highly recommend this place.

Had the best Indian food Ive had in the longest time! Butter chicken, Paneer Tikka masala, and Dal Makhani! Nothing was overly spicy, was so rich and flavorful!
