Hosted a private birthday here and it was truly fabulous. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. The service was above and beyond. There is catering on the premises which makes for a very easy communication. The day of the party we showed up decorated and enjoyed! Would absolutely host another private event with Well Crafted.
I have had their beers in the past at local restaurants and was looking forward to visiting the taproom. Met up with some friends and tried a number of beers and had a wonderful time. The bartenders were friendly and accommodating. I tried a couple cocktails with fresh squeezed juice as well and they were some of the best cocktails I have had at a brewery, which is a compliment to the bartenders skill beyond pouring beers. I look forward to going back again.
Great beer, wonderful atmosphere.
Great atmosphere, beer and service! Definitely coming back, especially the amazing beer is what will bring us back!
I'll say up front, on a sunny day, I'd give it 5 stars. The beer is excellent, and the food truck offerings are solid. The gourmet grilled cheeses on sourdough are probably the best option. In the rain, the food and I got a little wet. Would be nice if they had a tent that went from the door to the food truck. Very kids friendly before 8pm, almost every table had kids or toddlers.
Been here a few times for food truck Friday.
Well Crafted Ambler Brewery and Beer Garden is, in many ways, similar to many breweries popping up throughout our communities. What made it stand out to me was an ownership team genuinely interested in listening to customers and responding to concerns.
Their selection of handcrafted beers was impressive, with something to please just about everyone. From ales to IPAs, I could easily have found something to enjoy. I quit drinking three years ago and still appreciate the taste of beer, but there was not a non-alcoholic option available.
My son-in-law, who does enjoy more than an occasional beer, said his selection was better than what he gets at a local craft brewery near his home in Norristown. We also ordered from the food truck and were satisfied with both the quality and taste of the food.
One thing was particularly frustrating, though. When I walked up to the food truck, there was a sign stating that due to the volume of orders, they were unable to take any additional orders at that time and to return later when the sign was removed. To me, that came across as poor customer service. A better system for handling demand would improve the overall experience.
Before leaving, we spoke with someone from the management/ownership team. I believe his name was Ryan, and if Iβm mistaken, my apologies. It was 24 hours ago and my memory is not quite as good as it was all the way back then! When I mentioned the lack of a non-alcoholic option, he gave a candid and reasonable explanation. He said the equipment costs involved in producing non-alcoholic beer make it unrealistic for many breweries of their size.
I appreciated the honesty. He also mentioned they were evaluating non-alcoholic beers from other breweries and even offered to let me sample a few they had in the back if we were staying longer.
Our grandson was getting a bit antsy and we were about to leave, so I thanked him for the generous offer and told him we would be sure to stop back sometime in the next month or so once my daughter and son-in-law get settled in the area.
Overall, if youβre looking for good food, a friendly place to mingle and meet new people, and a wide variety of beer to choose from, I highly recommend giving them a visit.
Great beer and staff, absolutely the best place to hang out and grab a beer in Ambler. Would give it 10 stars if there were fewer roller blade kids π€‘
What's all these kids doing on roller blades, don't drink the pozo, it's too good fam
