“Best Chinese buffet we’ve had so far in Pittsburgh since moving here 2 years ago. The staff is very personable and attentive in what’s a very intimate, cozy atmosphere. Best of all, it’s very clean inside and each dish was extremely fresh and flavorful. Some of the best texture of crab rangoon and egg rolls I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Another perk is this is the only buffet I’m aware of that’s open until 11pm, makes a great late-night Friday lent option because the rice, pasta and seafood are solid. You can tell this is a quality neighborhood spot because a lot of locals in aliquippa came in and were ordering boxes of food to go by the pound. Plus one of the staff members went out of her way to tell us if we want them to make anything new or fresh simply ask. Oh, and try the grand central station ice cream at the end. Wont regret it 🙏“

“This is the best “Americanized” Chinese food I’ve had in this area. Their chicken is either all white meat (specified on the menu) or you can request all white meat if you like. It’s always identifiable as whole pieces of meat as opposed to some places where you get pulverized bits that may once have been chicken. Their veggie egg rolls are the biggest and best around. The filling is fresh and usually still a bit crisp as you would expect from actual vegetables. Favorites: lo mein, veggie egg rolls, orange beef, sesame chicken, amazing chicken, garlic string beans.“

“They are a little pricey but the food is fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is also appealing.
Parking: They're are spaces in a small parking lot which is free but street parking if the lots full does have digital meters“

“This Chinese place great food I mean hands down the best Chinese food I’ve had in PA or OH, food great service not so great lol but who goes to a Chinese takeout spot for great service. I particular the grandmother is the loudest and most rude lol but again the food is great so I’ll take it. You also have to ask for soy sauce and duck sauce they don’t just put it in the bag and when they give you some they’re very stingy with the sauce so you’ll have to ask for more if you like a lot“

“So I'm a native of this area and I been away for the past ten years and moved back last year, ten months ago. And I'm going to start doing videos for YouTube on the best spots to eat in the area at the best prices. So hopefully the restaurants I review will think that's cool. If I had to pick number one best Chinese food around Pittsburgh, this is the place for sure. There is another location in the area not too far I eat at too and I'm a fan but this location is number one hands down. The Won Ton Soup and The Egg Drop Soup are the best soup I ever tasted in a Chinese restaurant. My son who is a Kindergartner loves the Sweet And Sour Chicken, the fried donuts, and the fried dumplings. My favorite entree is the Shrimp with Broccoli and best house fried rice ever. I get take out a lot but the restaurant is beautiful and great atmosphere for kids. And they give great deals, so China City my number one favorite Chinese in the area.“

“Was welcomed upon walking in. A staff member even opened door for us. Lady behind counter was super friendly . Food was hot and fresh . Lady gave us samples which was nice. Overall a good experience. Bathrooms were clean as well . But plus for me. Nothing worse then a nasty bathroom .“

“Went there for the first time on Tuesday October 4th. I had the General two's chicken and crab Rangoon's. I was surprised with the amount of crab Rangoon's I got. Even though it was packed to go I asked the nice lady if it was okay if my friend and I could eat inside. That wasn't a problem. Everything was fresh! The chicken didn't taste stale (unlike some places I've eaten at in Nebraska) the egg roll was not bad, and the crab Rangoon's were pretty good too just thought they could have used a little extra flavor like a little green onion or some white pepper. The protion looked small but don't let your eyes fool you it was a decent sized portion and I got full. Split the crab Rangoon's with my friend and ate them on my dinner break at work. I probably will end up going back but there's other places in the area I want to try as well.“

“This is a good tasting food. Good selection even for lunch. Service is great also. I just read where this is ONLY take out now. I hope that it is not true. Otherwise I'm not going. Maybe they don't realize that people drive to eat at their buffet. I'd rather see them raise prices and use Chinet paper plates than become a take out only place.“

“I absolutely love the food and service at this location. Elizabeth is the nicest! With a lot of great choices from savory comfort food to nutritious low-calorie options; there’s something for everyone. From my first time going, Liz was helpful in explaining the different options and the team does a great job replenishing items when they get low. Great food at an even better price! Must visit!“

“I’ve been to 38 of our 50 states…eating Chinese or Thai in each state ( My favorite cuisine by far) and China Max is hands down the best I’ve ever had at the price point. The chef is a genius. They don't use MSG to spruce up cheap dead ingredients. Everything is fresh and so crisp. The Lo Mein, Vegetable Egg roll, Chicken and Broccoli, Orange Chicken, and Pepper Steak are personal favorites. And the crab Rangoon appetizer is second to none. 🙏🏼“

“Probably the best Chinese takeout around a 10 mile radius.
The food is delicious and you get quite a lot of food for the price your paying.
The place is CASH ONLY, but theres an atm right across the street.
Staff are pretty friendly, and very good cooks. Everytime I went, for the past 15 years, ive never had any issues with this place. ~ and love getting food here still!
Keep on rockin Ni's Wok, youll keep Ambridge going ~♡
Parking: Street parking only, usually theres empty spaces.“
