I was at Ardmore seafood on Saturday. Ordered a premade crabcake small for 9$. The crabcake was mostly breading with very minimal crab. It was horrible. I had a better crabcake from Weiss market for 5$ and it was loaded with real crab meat.

Not fresh ! The jumbo shrimp must have been soaked in MSG ! My dog loves seafood and she would not eat it! So draw your own conclusions

I ordered two lobsters for new year eve and give a 50 deposit when we came to pick up the lobster we handed them a credit card and they said the machine is not working that they would have to go inside and use another machine. When i got my statement i went in and showed them that they doubled billed me. They said they would check on it and call me. Going in the third time i said are you going to pay me and they said no. I have been a customer for over thirty years. i have never been treated so poorly. i will never go back there. On top of that the lobsters weren't any good.

We bought lobster meat there for a special occasion last week. I've never had lobster that was tough and dry before. I can only think that it was NOT fresh and VERY expensive at $80 a poundAvoid the cole slaw at any cost. Also very expensive ($12 a pound) and terrible!As high as Whole food prices are (and Ardmore seafood is higher), the fish is at least fresh
My husband brought home jumbo lump crab cakes for dinner last night that were full of breading with little crab (see pic). Very disappointing.

The fresh tuna I bought was very very low quality. I should have taken a better look before buying but I expected higher quality given the price and market reputation. This fish was clearly old (dull mushy meat that was falling apart).
